In the next episode of Comedy Central’s “The Comedy Jam,” Mark Duplass teams up with Reo Speedwagon’s lead vocalist Kevin Cronin to perform the band’s 1984 hit “Can’t Fight This Feeling.” The new comedy and music series, created by Josh Adam Meyers and directed by Joel Gallen, premiered March 22.
The eight-episode weekly series is based on the special that aired back in August 2016 and the live shows in Los Angeles. Each episode features a different set of stand-up comedians performing in front of a live audience. They share a personal experience, which they relate to a hit song. After telling their story, the comedians sing the song backed by The Comedy Jam Band.

TORONTO -- Canadian broadcaster CTV on Monday said it has acquired the Canadian TV rights to "On the Lot", the upcoming filmmaker-themed reality series from Mark Burnett and Stephen Speilberg for Fox.
As part of its deal with Mark Burnett Prods., CTV said "On the Lot" producers agreed to visit Toronto in March to audition Canadian filmmakers who might compete on the U.S.-produced series to win a $1 million development deal with DreamWorks.
The exclusive Canadian deal was brokered by CTV programming chief Susanne Boyce, Mark Burnett Prods.' president Conrad Riggs and the company's executive in charge of international, C. Scot Cru.
" 'On the Lot' delivers an innovative concept backed by an exceptional pedigree and, as a result, CTV is thrilled to bring this project to Canadians," Boyce said.
CTV is stepping onto rival CanWest Global Communications Corp.'s turf by acquiring Mark Burnett's latest non-fiction creation.
CanWest has hit ratings paydirt with the "Survivor" and "Apprentice" franchises, and did big numbers last September when Canadian Lukas Rossi won the latest edition of Burnett's "Rock Star: Supernova".
In 2004, CTV acquired Burnett's first comedy outing, "Commando Nanny", along with gambling reality series "The Casino".
"On the Lot" will see 16 undiscovered filmmakers produce short films, with viewers voting on the productions and which filmmaker will be eliminated.
