It’s time for this week’s review of Aew: Dark, which emanates from Aew Universal once again and features only 8 matches this week… which hopefully means we’re not going to be subjected to the ridiculous squash-tastic action that we got last week! We’ve got Taz and Excalibur on commentary so let’s get right to it.
Match #1: The Factory def. Invictus Khash, Adam Priest, & Gus De La Vega
My Thoughts: Qt and co. played the big heel card in this match, with Qt himself really p*ssing off the audience in attendance. It wasn’t all about the Factory though, as Invictus Khash – who’s been tagging recently with Ariya Daivari in a couple of Dark/Elevation matches – got in some good offence and showed off the same skills that have impressed in his previous appearances for Aew. A solid start to this week’s Dark Imho.

Welcome to this week’s Aew Dynamite review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and f— Aew Dark. It has too many matches. It’s driving me insane! So, to that end, we’re just gonna put a brief run-down of Dark at the beginning of each Dynamite review, so I don’t have to review a thousand squash matches a week. I F—— Hate Squash Matches!!!!!!! Charlie Bucket got squashed by the Great Glass Wonkavator. Finally…a squash I like! F— Yeaaaaaaaaah!!!!!!! Dorothy Gale was a little whore and we have the wonderful New Year’s Smash Night 2 to usher in 2021 with…Darby Allin? S—. Well, at least he gives me a boner. Alright, let’s begin this new era of Dynamite reviews by doing no work and skipping it for the week. Adios, amigo!

Welcome to this week’s All Elite Wrestling: Dark review, right here on Nerdly. I’m Nathan Favel and it’s been a little while since I reviewed Dark, because the match amount and weekly length of the show was becoming very difficult to deal with as the rest of the usual wrestling shows were coming back and yada yada yada. In an effort to retain my sanity, I’m gonna start reviewing Aew Dark a bit differently. Since they just keep loading this show with squash matches, I’m going to stop reviewing this show per match and instead just make comments about the best performances of the wrestlers themselves. My apologies to those that want an individual match review per show, but I don’t wanna start to hate this show and reviewing a show that has a weekly card that is in excess of twenty or so matches…...
