When I hear someone talk about Asian actors and actresses, I usually hear the names Jackie Chan and Jet Li. You almost never hear about Sung Kang, John Cho, and even Masi Oka for instance. Actresses, I usually hear Lucy Liu. I'm not saying the majority of people are oblivious the other Asian actors and actresses but I do feel there should be more than there are right now.
It makes me want to get into acting, be one of the few Asian actors out there. Makes me want to land leading roles and become the next great actor you hear about. Hollywood should start accepting Asians as actors and actresses, because I believe they are missing out on potentially a lot of good actors and actresses.
But Hollywood is Hollywood and would probably never seriously consider giving a big time, big budget, kind of movie to an Asian if your name isn't Jet Li or Jackie Chan. For shame.
