- Andre Almuro was an electronic acoustic composer with an extensive radio career who also left a legacy of thirty some male erotic films.Influenced by Surrealism in his twenties after WWII, he produced challenging theater on French radio beginning in 1947 and in 1958 became a member of the ORTF music research group.Around the same time he started collaborating with the future actor Pierre Clementi, then a budding teenage poet.In 1973 Almuro began teaching as well at the Sorbonne.His film work, based on the masculine body, was influenced by Artaud, Genet,and Pasolini and eschewed scripts,regular technicians, and normal channels of production and distribution.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Lawrence Chadbourne
