Apple TV+ have set a new soccer documentary, “Real Madrid: Until The End,” which is introduced by David Beckham.
The three-part series, about iconic soccer team Real Madrid, goes behind the scenes to explore their incredible 2021-22 season. “Fueled by their fervent fans, they defy the odds and skeptics on their way to one of the most memorable finishes in football history, culminating in a record 14th Champions League title,” reads the logline.
“The path to a 14th title has never been steeper,” Beckham says in the trailer. “Many doubted it but not this coach, not these players and definitely not these fans. This is no ordinary club. This is Real Madrid.” Beckham himself played for the club between 2003 and 2007.
David Quintana, Virginia Acero, Camila Rodríguez Bohórquez, Jorge Cabrera and Real Madrid C.F. produce the series, which is scheduled to drop globally on March 10 on Apple TV+.

“Black Bird,” a limited series starring Taron Egerton and Paul Walter Hauser, will premiere on Apple TV Plus this July 8, the streamer announced Thursday.
Based on James Keene and Hillel Levin’s true crime memoir “In With The Devil: A Fallen Hero, A Serial Killer, and A Dangerous Bargain for Redemption,” “Black Bird” stars Egerton as Keene, a police officer’s son who is sentenced to 10 years in a minimum security prison for drug dealing. While serving his sentence, he is offered a chance for early parole, on the condition that he move to a prison for the criminally insane and befriend serial killer Larry Hall (Hauser). Keene reluctantly agrees to the unusual case, and develops a complicated relationship with Hall as he attempts to discover the truth behind the murders the convict is suspected of committing. In addition to Egerton and Hauser, the series also stars Sepideh Moafi, Greg Kinnear and Ray Liotta.

Big news from Apple TV+ — big as in 6-foot-11. The streamer has ordered Big Man on Campus, a docuseries focusing on 20-year-old basketball phenom Makur Maker of Howard University.
Directed and executive produced by Seth Gordon (Undefeated), the series will tell Maker’s coming-of-age story as he navigates the highs and lows of his freshman year in college against the backdrop of the Black Lives Matter movement and the global pandemic. Exhibit A, Boardwalk Pictures and Sony Pictures Television are producing.
Big Man on Campus is the story of a historic moment in America told through the lens of a young athlete with the power to create change. In a year marked by social unrest, five-star NCAA recruit and NBA prospect Maker made the groundbreaking decision to play college basketball for Howard University in support of Historically Black Colleges and Universities, rather than join one of the many top-tier programs offering him a full ride.
