Stever sat at the bottom of the pool looking upwards, unaware he was in any danger. Moments later, a hand reached in and plucked him to safety. Ironically, the scenario would eerily play out again in Steven Spielberg's A.I. where Haley Joel Osmont almost drowns. Stever later returned to Disney, singing & dancing in the famed 'Diamond Horseshoe Jamboree,' considered by many to be one of the best live production shows ever produced on Disney property.
