The father of the man arrested last month in connection with the disappearance of Rosie O'Donnell's then-underage daughter has been apprehended for a separate crime.
Stafford Police have charged Steven Sheerer of Barnegat, New Jersey, with hindering apprehension and conspiracy to commit possession of a controlled dangerous substance, the department announced Thursday. Sheerer, 51, was being tracked as part of an undercover operation involving anabolic steroids for seven months.

Though the bidding for Teresa and Joe Giudice's Jersey Shore house started at only $100, no one was interested in purchasing the five-bedroom beach home.
"This particular home was purchased as an investment property several years ago before the real estate market crashed and before Hurricane Sandy caused significant damage to the area where the home is located," Teresa's lawyer James J. Leonard, Jr. tells People.
"The reality is, there really was no value left, other than sentimental, and that is why they decided to part ways with the home."

Police were called to Real Housewives of New Jersey star Joe Giudice's beach house Saturday when a neighbor complained of "loud arguing," People confirms.
TMZ was the first to report the story.
"It was a keep [and] restore the peace call made over loud arguing," patrol officer Christopher Fritz of the Stafford Township, New Jersey, Police tells People, adding the neighbor reported the argument was between two men. "Once everyone was calmed down, we cleared … There was no cause for arrest."
While witnesses reportedly told TMZ the tiff stemmed from an argument with Giudice's eldest daughter Gia, 14, being locked out of the house,...

How tragic! A darling baby girl passed away from heat exhaustion after being overheated in a van during a 15-hour cross-country family road trip. Her parents have been arrested for neglecting her in this horrible situation.
Christopher Randolph, 28, and Angela Randolph, 26, have been arrested after their 3-week-old baby girl Hanna died in their car on August 6. The family embarked on an over 1,000 mile journey from Columbus, Ohio to Ringling, Oklahoma in a van with no air conditioning and only one functioning window.
