Timm Doolen started his production career 10 years ago producing
independent low-budget documentaries, including the award-winning
Explaining from the Inside, which documented the 1999 Texas A&M
University bonfire tragedy that killed 12 students.
A graduate from University of Southern California's Peter Stark Producing Program, Timm has worked in New Line Cinema's story department analyzing scripts and advising top executives on potential film investments. He later moved to Dreamworks where he worked in the story department, assisting in the production coordination for the feature films Catch Me If You Can, The Ring, Old School, Head of State, Envy, Biker Boyz and House of Sand and Fog.
In 2003, he assisted acclaimed producer Bob Cooper at the newly formed Landscape Entertainment and worked on Sleepover and Mr. Woodcock. Timm advanced to Casting Director and Production Coordinator on the indie feature Think Tank. During his spare time, Timm has directed, produced, written and cast several short films, including The Man With No Eyes, which was aired on the Sci-Fi Channel.
Timm came to Bigfoot Entertainment in 2004 as a writing assistant and was promoted to Director of Creative Development in March of 2005.
