StereoRiots, an alternative indie rock band hailing from the vibrant and historical musical scene of Washington DC, found its genesis when Wahid Hashime and Jey Williams connected online, channeling their creative synergy into compelling songwriting. Moe Sesay joined on drums, and the addition of keyboardist Erica Yu enriched their sonic palette. Demos at Blue Room Productions marked the beginning of their musical journey, catching the attention of Austin Bello.
Under Austin's guidance, the band crafted their debut EP, "Intervals," released in February 2015. Despite lineup changes, including the departure of Erica Yu and the arrival of Jorge Ramirez, StereoRiots gained traction, performing at renowned venues like 930 Club and the Howard Theatre.
The following years brought triumphs and challenges. Amidst contest victories and major shows, the band faced the departure of Jey and Jorge in 2016. Undeterred, they welcomed bassist Chris Ruffin and continued their musical odyssey.
Relocating to Los Angeles in 2018, StereoRiots embraced the city's creative hub. Their relentless pursuit of a nationwide fan base led to extensive U.S. tours and performances at iconic venues. However, the momentum encountered an abrupt pause in 2020 due to the global shutdown.
Adapting to challenges, StereoRiots engaged with fans through virtual concerts, utilizing Instagram Live to maintain a connection. Leveraging film industry connections, they ventured into the world of soundtracks, expanding their reach beyond the stage.
While occasionally gracing LA stages, StereoRiots diligently works on new music, showcasing their evolving artistry on Spotify. Keep up with their journey on Instagram for a glimpse into the dynamic world of StereoRiots, where creative professionalism meets the thrill of musical innovation.
