Burbank, CA — Season 4: DC’s unlikeliest group of heroes, the Doom Patrol, are ready to save the world… kind of. After suffering horrific accidents that gave them superhuman abilities, Cliff/Robotman (Brendan Fraser), Larry/Negative Man (Matt Bomer), Rita/Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), Jane/Crazy Jane (Diane Guerrero), and Vic/Cyborg (Joivan Wade) were each left scarred, disfigured, and ostracized – until mad scientist Dr. Niles Caulder (Timothy Dalton) brings the outcasts together to treat and protect them. Gritty and irreverent, Doom Patrol follows this part support group, part superhero team as they take on evil, otherworldly forces determined to destroy humankind – even if it wants nothing to do with them.

With recent scheduling decisions at Max, there have been plenty of questions surrounding whether completed episodes of shows will see the light of day.
Production on Doom Patrol Season 4 has been completed for some time now, with the first half concluding in January 2023.
Many thought the episodes would materialize after the conclusion of Titans Season 4, but with Max nixing several projects, despite production being complete on some, there have been questions about when the show could return.
James Gunn responded to a fan of the show on Threads who wondered whether the final episodes will air, and it's good news.
Gunn, who oversees DC Studios alongside Peter Safran, said that he's "not focused on day to day TV scheduling," but he'd be surprised if "completed episodes" of the show "are not going to be released."
He later followed up with the following:

It was announced yesterday that HBO Max had cancelled Titans and Doom Patrol after four seasons, which prompted some fans to place the blame on James Gunn and Peter Safran. As the pair became co-chairmen and CEO’s of DC Studios late last year, you would think that they did have a hand in ending Titans and Doom Patrol, but James Gunn took to Twitter to say that the decision to end both shows actually preceded their appointments.
The decision to end the series precedes us. But I certainly wish the best for the talented group of creators, actors, and the rest of the crew that produced both shows. https://t.co/jdqDc9TqU1

Following the departure of Walter Hamada from Warner Bros. Discovery, DC Films became DC Studios and the company appointed James Gunn and Peter Safran as the new co-chairs of the all-new DC Universe. However, when they stepped into these new positions, the duo weren't just given the reins to the cinematic universe containing fan-favorite characters such as Batman, Wonder Woman, and Superman. They were also brought in to oversee the television and animation projects based on the vast history of DC Comics.
As the winds of change blew through the former DC Extended Universe with projects in development getting canceled, new ones being announced, and the fate of others still up in the air, it was only a matter of time before the TV side of the company experienced more major changes as well. I say more because, thanks to a new direction for The CW, the fate of the...

Even superheroes can’t defeat the looming threat of a series finale. “Titans” and “Doom Patrol,” two live-action series based on DC Comic book characters, will end after their respective ongoing fourth seasons, IndieWire has confirmed.
The two series have an interesting development history, beginning as original programs for DC Universe, a streaming platform focused on superhero content, launching their first seasons in 2018 (for “Titans”) and 2019 (for “Doom Patrol”). After HBO Max launched, DC Universe was rebooted as a free comics subscription service, and the shows moved to the new streamer. “Titans” premiered its fourth and now final season this November, while “Doom Patrol’s” launched in December; both seasons consists of 12 episodes split into two six-episode parts, with the final batches of episodes set to premiere at unannounced dates.

The good news?
Reports state that producers of both shows knew the end could be near with the current unrest at HBO Max following the Warner Bros. Discovery merger.
As a result, both shows are expected to conclude with season finales that can function as series-enders.
"While these will be the final seasons of Titans and Doom Patrol, we are very proud of these series and excited for fans to see their climactic endings," an HBO Max spokesperson said to Deadline.
""We are grateful to Berlanti Productions and Warner Bros. Television for making such thrilling, action-packed, heartfelt series."
"We thank Titans showrunner Greg Walker, executive producers Greg Berlanti, Akiva Goldsman, Sarah Schechter, Geoff Johns, Richard Hatem, and the team at Weed Road Pictures.

The HBO Max-dc live-action series “Titans” and “Doom Patrol” will both end with their current fourth seasons at the streaming service, Variety has learned.
According to an individual with knowledge of the situation, both productions were aware that these would be their final seasons some time ago and thus both will have definitive endings. That same individual stressed that these decisions were not part of the infamous cost-cutting decisions undertaken since the Warner Bros.-Discovery merger under David Zaslav that has seen a number of projects scrapped, including the nearly-completed “Batgirl” film.
The fourth seasons of both “Titans” and “Doom Patrol” consist of 12 episodes, split into two six-episode chunks.

Titans and Doom Patrol, the DC Comics dramas that were originally developed to help launch the former DC Universe streaming service, are coming to an end.
The current fourth seasons of both of the Greg Berlanti-produced HBO Max dramas will be their last, sources tell The Hollywood Reporter. Sources say producers on both Titans and Doom Patrol saw the writing on the wall amid all the changes with DC Entertainment and plotted their current seasons with proper endings so as to not leave fans in a lurch.

Speed and star-power: Those are the two clear goals for the DC Fandome virtual event on Aug. 22, which released its full schedule Friday.
Over 100 hours of content stretching across the film, TV and comic book properties from DC Entertainment will unfold over a 24-hour period on the Saturday event, including panels featuring the filmmakers and casts of “The Batman,” “Wonder Woman 1984,” “The Suicide Squad” and the Snyder Cut of “Justice League,” and the casts of TV series including “DC’s Legends of Tomorrow,” “Batwoman,” “Black Lightning” and “The Flash.”
Most of those panels, however, will run just 15 to 30 minutes in length. The panel for the upcoming feature film version of “The Flash,” with filmmakers Andy and Barbara Muschietti, star Ezra Miller, and screenwriter Christina Hodson, will clock in at a speedy 10 minutes. (The briefness of that panel could also be due to unresolved questions surrounding a video of Miller appearing...

At this point, it is almost tradition. A television network cancels a series, and fans of that series revolt. Back in the day, devotees would organise letter-writing campaigns, and inundate studios and network offices with missives pleading for their favourite show to be renewed. In this modern era, with the rise of social media, the reaction time is greatly reduced. Now, Twitter fills with bitter tears, and digital petitions are quickly circulated. Such is the case for Agent Carter – recently cancelled by ABC, and now the subject of a popular change.org petition, initiated by ‘Arnau S’ of Spain, asking Netflix to save the show.
Agent Carter has been a fantastic series. It was unlike anything else on television – including its stable-mate, Agents Of Shield – and it consistently delivered high quality storytelling, and a remarkable central performance from Hayley Atwell as the titular spy. For those of us, in particular,...

The last time we saw Agent Carter (Hayley Atwell), she was saying goodbye to Captain America by pouring the last ounces of his blood into the Hudson River in New York City. Now she's back, and this time she's in Los Angeles. What brings Peggy to Los Angeles is still unclear, but the trailer clearly shows her working in the star-studded, noir world of 1940s Hollywood. There are a few scenes in the trailer which feature Mr. Jarvis (James D'Arcy), his wife Ana Jarvis (Lotte Verbeek) and Peggy's new love interest Jason Wilkes (Reggie Austin). The villain of this season, Whitney Frost (Wynn Everett), cannot be seen in the trailer, but a clue hinting at her role as Madame Masque is teased, if you look very closely. Ssr Agent Daniel Souza (Enver Gjokaj) is also back for season two, this time as Chief of the Ssr. Check out the season...
