- Gabrielle Rosson is a New England writer, director, and producer. After graduating magna cum laude from Bridgewater State University in English and Education, she cut her teeth in journalism, writing, producing, news anchoring and directing for Cape Media News.
An avid story-teller, Gabrielle has written, directed, and produced more than a dozen award-winning short films and runs her own film company, GR Films, which assists in a variety of capacities on productions throughout New England.
Rosson is a renaissance woman who pulls from a variety of influences. Some of her favorite directors are Ridley Scott (Blade Runner), Sofia Coppola (Marie Antoinette), and Martin Scorsese (Gangs of New York). She believes that writing and filmmaking are therapeutic art forms that can be used to empower as much as they are used to entertain. - Gabrielle started her filmmaking career at the age of 40. She has often shared the quote "It's never too late to become what you might have been.".
- Gabrielle has lived in San Fransisco, New York, Los Angeles, Seattle, Atlanta, and Cape Cod.
