Tisa Farrow, an actor and sister of Mia Farrow, died in her sleep on Jan. 10 in Rutland, Vermont. She was 72.
Her sister Mia shared the news in a post on Instagram, writing: “If there is a Heaven, undoubtedly my beautiful sister Tisa is being welcomed there. She was the best of us – I have never met a more generous and loving person. She loved life and never complained. Ever. She was a nurse for 27 years, a wonderful sister to Steffi, Prudence and me, a devoted mother to Jason, who died in Iraq, Bridget and little grandson Kylor – the lights of her life.”
Farrow was born Theresa Magdalena Farrow in Los Angeles to actor Maureen O’Sullivan and film director John Farrow and was the youngest of seven siblings. She was the subject of a New York Times profile in 1970, in which she discussed her family connections in the entertainment industry.

“Hollywood is mourning the loss of two of its own today,” the radio newscaster announced 30 years ago. My ears perked up, perhaps a bit more than the average listener’s would. “Federico Fellini,” he continued, “is dead at the age of 73.”
“Ah, well,” I thought. “He’s been ill for some time.”
“And in Los Angeles,” the newscaster said, “actor River Phoenix…” A sudden rush of adrenaline made my heart race and I felt as if I’d been punched in the stomach.
Five years earlier, I had spent the afternoon of River’s 18th birthday with him. At the time, I was working on a daily radio network program where I chatted with stars of new movies. Of the hundreds of actors I’ve interviewed, River easily made it to my personal “Top 10 Favorites” list.

2022 has been quite the year for fans of the beloved Scream franchise. It hosted the first theatrical release in the series since the fourth installment back in 2011. It also allowed us to revisit our favorite fabled town of Woodsboro. Meeting wonderful new characters like Mindy, Chad, and the Carpenter sisters – while catching up with the horror genre’s most esteemed trinity: Gale, Dewey, and Sidney.
Scream 2022 was not only a love letter to the late Master of Horror, Wes Craven, and the genre he’s left such a legendary mark on – but of the stand-out slasher series that changed the foundation of horror in the mid-to-late nineties.
To no surprise, audiences reciprocated the affection of the cast and crew as the film was widely enjoyed and celebrated by the horror community. The outpour of love and support from fans was a clear indicator that the Scream franchise was in...

UKTV, which is a joint venture between Discovery and BBC Studios, has handed British comedians Josh Widdicombe and James Acaster a new comedy panel show. This comes as its carriage feud with UK cable operator Virgin Media rumbles on.
The multichannel broadcaster has commissioned eight-part entertainment format Hypothetical for its male skewing network Dave. The series is produced by Episodes and Have I Got News For You producer Hat Trick Productions, which is currently working on Anna Paquin-fronted Flack for UKTV.
The show will test two teams of comedians on their ability to deal with a series of ridiculous hypothetical scenarios such as how someone would cope living in a motorway services for a year or how to take a selfie with Nicolas Cage within 48 hours or you die
Each hypothetical will be posed by Widdicombe, while Acaster’s job is to enforce ridiculous rules and score the guests’ attempts at dealing with them.

Exclusive: Britain is getting its own spin on a Bachelor-style dating show after UKTV picked up an eight-part series based around ‘Lady’ Lara Asprey, who has provided dating advice to those close to the royal family.
UKTV’s female-skewing channel W has ordered The Ultimate Matchmaker, which follows some of Britain’s most eligible singles through the eyes of Asprey, often known as the Sloane Arranger, from Warner Bros-backed Ricochet, which produced Channel 5’s UK version of The Bachelor.
The show, which will air later this year, will follow the staff at Asprey’s eponymous dating agency and each episode will see singletons attend a series of three mini dates set in an amazing venue. They will then pick one of those dates to see again and viewers will follow the couple on an even glitzier date to see how they get on.
