A musician cum singer cum songwriter, Armstrong does have a well-known name, but inevitably not as well known as the boyband. So far, not much has been known about the artist, except that she is a part of the trio rock band Dead Sara and channels some really exceptional vocals. That said, here’s all we know about the grunge singer – including her current respective net worth.

In the world of music, only a few music bands leave a long-lasting legacy. In this American rock band, Linkin Park definitely stands the tallest. The group formed in 1996, created several memorable albums as well as live shows with its lead vocalist Chester Bennington in the forefront. But after his death in 2017, the rock band entered an indefinite period of hiatus.

But even after his passing, fans have kept his legacy alive by listening to several of his hits. This works perfectly given that the $30 million-rich singer had, in the past, agreed to give a massive part of his Linkin Park royalties to his first wife, Samantha Olit.

Linkin Park just announced earlier this week that the band has re-formed with new lead singer Emily Armstrong. Armstrong, also known as part of the band Dead Sara, expressed her regret via an Instagram story. She explained, “I always try to see the good in people, and I misjudged him.”
Armstrong’s post read in full, “Hi, I’m Emily. I’m new to so many of you, and I wanted to clear the air about something that happened a while back.”
“Several years ago, I was asked to support someone I considered a friend at a court appearance, and went to one early hearing as an observer. Soon after, I realized I shouldn’t have. I always try to see the good in people, and I misjudged him. I...

The song was king at last night’s 66th annual Bmi Pop Awards held at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Beverly Hills honoring Mark Ronson. The celebrated five-time Grammy winning artist/producer/songwriter is the first to receive the Bmi Champion Award at the ceremony in recognition not only of his creative track record, but also for his philanthropy, including his patronage of the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which works to provide a musical alternative to drugs for at-risk youth.
“This is like my bar mitzvah, except there are fewer family members,” joked Ronson on the red carpet. “But it might be equally embarrassing. Last year, whether it was due to oversight by the selection committee or just plain bias, Linkin Park did not make the field of 65 bands that competed in MTV's inaugural Musical March Madness tournament.
In the end, after weeks of fiercely contested matchups, more than 2 million votes and precisely one accusation of cheating, it was Coheed and Cambria that ended up taking home the championship, shocking the world and inspiring this hilarious photograph in the process.
And while we're not going to discount the valiant efforts of Coheed and their fervent fanbase — after all, winners were determined by fan voting — we couldn't help but wonder if things would've turned out differently had Linkin Park made the tournament in the first place. They are, after all,...

Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington will start the band's U.S. tour injured. The singer with the "The Catalyst" group has not been able to warm up for shows with his usual rigorous workout because he's still suffering from "stupid" ailments he sustained last year, but promised this will not stop him from giving his all.

Out with the actor, in with the musician. That is UCLA’s answer to the abrupt loss of the school’s prospective commencement speaker James Franco, who controversially bailed to shoot a film in Ireland. His replacement is Linkin Park guitarist and UCLA alumnus Brad Delson.
How will students react to a musician whose band is most known for aggro shout-fests like “Bleed it Out” as the replacement for an actor known for his role as a baked-out drug dealer in “Pineapple Express”? If Franco didn’t cut it, it’s hard to imagine that Delson will, even though the LP guitarist has raised millions of dollars for several charitable causes and established annual four-year scholarships for exemplary UCLA students (which is the sort of charity that tends to go unnoticed).
But I’m going to side with college administrators on this one and against the students...

Linkin Park's Brad Delson is replacing James Franco as the keynote speaker at the UCLA College of Letters and Science's commencement ceremony. The alum will be delivering his speech on June 12.
The 31-year-old rocker took up Business and Administration at the University of California, Los Angeles and graduated summa cum laude in 1999. He is replacing the "Spider-Man" star as the speaker, after the actor bailed out, citing scheduling conflict amid student protest.
Franco said that he is canceling his appearance at the commencement ceremony because of prior commitment. However, prior to his withdrawal, UCLA students had already spoken out to oppose his intended role at the event.
According to the students, Franco, who graduated last year with a creative writing degree, is one of their peers and is not qualified to be their speaker as he hasn't had accomplished anything yet with his degree.
