Kammy Wong(II)
- Actress
Kammy Ka Sui Wong, born in Hong Kong, SAR, is a multilingual talent whose childhood was marked by adventurous escapades through the Vermont woods, literary explorations at local bookstores, and a deep-seated love for the silver screen. Kammy's acting career took flight when she reluctantly auditioned for the lead role of 'Eve Simone' in "Murder at the Pie Auction." Despite her initial reservations, Kammy's love for the intimacy of scene work and the camaraderie with fellow actors bloomed in this endeavor. She participated in the 2019 Hollywood Fringe Festival with her portrayal of Chang'e, the Goddess of the Moon, a culturally relevant performance in ASCEND, which won the coveted Encore! Producer's Award. She has also collaborated with Ma-Yi Theatre Company in Lloyd Suh's short comedic play, "The Truth," as 'Frankie.'
Recent highlights in Kammy's career include her role as 'Sophie' in the award-winning feature film "Introducing Jodea," directed by Jon Cohen, as well as her poignant portrayal of 'Jenny' in the Asian-American narrative "Torn," written and directed by Carmen Chan, which won her the "Best Performance Award" at Philadelphia's ArtsQuest Film Festival. She also brought 'Leslie,' the last survivor, to life in the post-horror drama "The Epilogue Chapters," a project helmed by director Adrian McGraw in Los Angeles.
