Michael Nash is a filmmaker and television producer who was recently an honored recipient of the Social Change Global Institute Filmmaker of the Year Award. MovieMaker Magazine named Nash one of the "Top 10 MovieMakers Of The Planet" (2010). Nash has also won Senator Boxer's Conservation Champion Award and the Neiman Marcus Environmental Visions Filmmaker Award. Nash founded Beverly Hills Productions over a decade ago, the award winning film and television production company as producer films in 48 countries. Nash's multi-award winning Climate Refugees(2010) premiered at Sundance Film Festival and was the only film screened by the United Nations at the recent IIEA Copenhagen Climate Change Conference and Davos for world leaders and policymakers. Climate Refugees had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah, and was noted by Robert Redford in the NY Times "as an agent for social change." Nash's narrative feature films, the critically acclaimed film titled "Fuel,"(2007) won top feature film honors around the globe and Nebraska.
Nash sits on an UN advisory panel focused on global "content for change" and is a global keynote speaker on issues of humanity, climate stress, food security and migration. Beverly Hills Productions is a key link between Hollywood and the United Nations for providing film content to be screened in summits and events to leaders of the world in hopes of changing global policy. He consults with several leaders around the world, governments and organizations.
Nash has two films in development. He also has five television shows in development/production, three scripted dramas and two reality shows. Recently completed films soon to be released are Saving The Roar, BillyFord, Captain Counter Culture and The Messenger.
