Mumbai, July 5: With many well-known faces being considered for the role of Draupadi, it is now rumoured that actress Yuvika Choudhary will slip into the mythological character for "Mahabharata".
"Mahabharata" will be aired on Star Plus soon.
The few names that were under considertaion for the role included actresses Riya Sen and Sayali Bhagat, said a source from the channel.
Yuvika, first seen on the small screen as a participant of "Zee Cine Stars Ki Khoj" in 2004, later featured in TV show "Astitva". She made her Bollywood debut with "Om Shanti Om".

New Delhi, Oct 16 – After a five-year break from showbiz, yesteryears’ popular item girl-actress Jayshree T. is back. She will be seen as a strong-headed character in Zee TV’s new show “Dil Se Diya…Vachan”.
“I am very excited about this project. I didn’t see that it is on the small screen…I just liked the concept, and the medium didn’t matter at all,” Jayshree told Ians over phone from Mumbai.
“Dil Se Diya…Vachan”, starting Oct 25, is a story that showcases a positive relationship between a mother-in-law and a daughter-in-law.
Jayshree will be playing the role of Ayub Khan’s mother and will sport grey strands in the show.
