Argentinean artist based in Berlin.
Micaela started her career during her high school years attending various communication and photographic workshops. While discovering analog photography, she was also developing her own style and perspective of life. Up to this day she continuous to work as a self-taught and curious person always striving to expand her skills and knowledge.
She studied still photography and afterwards cinematography; she received her Bachelor degree. She also did a few seminars in the field: b&w lab, cyanotype and palladium photography with Pablo Kolodny.
Before moving to Berlin, she developed a strong interest in arts curation so she enrolled into a course at the National University of Arts in Buenos Aires. She aims to incorporate this interest as part of her career.
After arriving in Berlin, she did her first international exhibition with the South American collective Lucky Pinhole about the new city and her perspective as a foreigner.
Now, she is working as a photographer and cinematographer in the German city since early 2018. Most of her work involves short and feature films, music videos, documentaries and erotic movies; and her photographic interests are portraits, music, street, conceptual and storytelling.
Her photographic work reflects a sensation, an emotion or a simple piece of life as an observer which is always related to a personal experience.
