Doug Bradley (“Hellraiser”) has been added to the cast of The CW’s “Gotham Knights” series, the network announced on Wednesday.
Bradley will appear in Episode 6 of Gotham Knights as Joe Chill, one of DC Comics’ most notorious villains known for cruelly killing Bruce Wayne’s parents. After fifty years of rotting on death row, Joe Chill is scheduled to be executed. However, Gotham’s infamous “Patron Saint of Bad Guys” isn’t about to let his secrets die with him.
“When casting the iconic role of Joe Chill, arguably the man who created Batman, there was only one name we considered – Doug Bradley. We needed an actor with the kind of gravitas that would do justice to such a seminal character in DC Comics canon,” said series co-creators Chad Fiveash, James Stoteraux and Natalie Abrams in a statement. “And who better to embody the role of the classic Gotham...

Over the past year, Go90 has shown a proclivity for distributing sports comedies, which populate its Go90 Zone vertical. The latest addition to that number is In The Rough, a series from Complex Networks’ RatedRed set at a not-so-classy golf course.
In The Rough stars Ryan Merriman as a young golfer who must save the course he plays on from a buyout attempt. The fate of the course, as in many sports comedies, is determined through a game, during which Merriman and his cohorts do whatever it takes to keep the land grabbers from seizing victory.
The cast of In The Rough includes a number of performers who have found success through social media. Co-star Sunny Mabrey, for example, received more than 680 million loops on Vine, while supporting actress Lara Sebastian touts a six-digit follower count on Instagram.

The deep space mining vessel Atromitos has been adrift for two years. It is suspected that most of the crew had brutally killed each other for reasons unknown. Genetically modified “superior” humans are sent to investigate the marooned ship and recover the only survivor. Cracks appear within the group which threaten the success of the mission and their chances of getting home alive.

'Teacher of the Year' movie with Keegan-Michael Key. 'Teacher of the Year' movie: Smart and funny socially conscious comedy Teacher of the Year manages to pull off one of the more difficult balancing acts in filmmaking: it actually is smart while still being funny. Teacher of the Year is smart about education, both as a vocation and as an industry; and it's both character and dialogue funny, leaning heavily on the free-agent talents of Keegan-Michael Key, half of the comedy duo, Key and Peele. Of late, Key has been a valuable asset in a number of comedies looking for a boost, including a stand-out performance in Pitch Perfect 2, currently in theaters. In Teacher of the Year, his name is Principal Douche – though he insists on the french pronunciation. You can imagine the jokes. After a lengthy hiatus, "Once Upon A Time" finally returns to ABC on Sunday night.
As Season 3 continues, expect emotions to run high for the Storybrooke residents who were returned to fairy tale land following the midseason finale. Knowing Emma Swan (Jennifer Morrison) and Henry (Jared Gilmore) are out there - and with no memories of them -- will be tough for some folks to take.
And, in this half of the season, the show is introducing new characters from Oz, including Zelena The Wicked Witch (Rebecca Mader) and Glinda (Sunny Mabrey).

Once Upon a Time has cast a Glinda for its Wizard of Oz story arc. TVLine reports that Sunny Mabrey has been picked to play the Good Witch.
Lifetime has announced that Drop Dead Diva will end with the upcoming sixth season, according to The Hollywood Reporter. I just hope another show quickly steps in to fill the upcoming Brooke Elliott shortage on TV.
Dave Holmes sings the praises of Brit soap Coronation Street, though a lot of his praise highlights the ways UK soaps trump their U.S. counterparts.
EW reports that Jeffrey Dean Morgan is set to appear on Shameless as Fiona‘s new boss. Judging from Morgan’s roles on Weeds, Supernatural and Watchmen, I’m already starting a deathwatch for his character.
Seth Meyers promises that Stefon will eventually appear on Late Night, saying that Bill Hader wants to bring his Saturday Night Live character to Meyer’s show eventually.

"Once Upon a Time" has found its Good Witch of the North -- with a name that is perfect for the part.
TVLine reports that Sunny Mabrey has been cast as Glinda, the nemesis of the Wicked Witch of the West in the "Wizard of Oz" canon. Whether Glinda and "Ouat's" Wicked Witch (Rebecca Mader) are bitter enemies in Fairytale Land remains to be seen -- you know how "Ouat" likes to play with its characters' traditional roles.
We wonder if Glinda will be in present-day Fairytale Land or if she'll be part of the Wicked Witch's flashbacks?
Before being cast on "Ouat," Mabrey's TV credits include "Memphis Beat" and "The Client List." She was also in "Snakes on a Plane."
"Once Upon a Time" returns from hiatus Sunday, March 9 at 8 p.m. Et/Pt on ABC.

If you have Netflix and are a horror fan in need of something to watch this Labor Day weekend, one look at this gargantuan list I compiled of the new terror titles Netflix has added for instant streaming in just the first three days of this month should keep you busy until Labor Day next year. You'll find something for everyone, from older titles to recent releases, famous to obscure, classic to not-so-classic, monsters to maniacs - you name it.
For the record, I considered compiling this list in alphabetical order or by year of the film's release, but then I realized I had already spent well over an hour just sorting through the massive catalogue of titles Netflix has now made available for instant streaming and realized Labor Day would be over by the time I finished arranging this list in any kind of order. Ready? Here you go.

Chicago – There have been TV cops in New York, Miami, Chicago, Los Angeles and even Hawaii, 5-0, so it stands to reason that Memphis, Tennessee, would get its turn. Jason Lee (“My Name is Earl”) and Alfre Woodard are on the “Memphis Beat,” premiering June 22nd on the TNT Network.
TV Rating: 2.5/5.0
Lee portrays Memphis plainclothes detective Dwight Hendricks, an unconventional (are there any other type of TV cop?) who seems not just to live and work in Memphis, but completely embody the town within his DNA. As Dwight and his detective partner ‘Whitehead’ (Sam Hennings) are introduced, they are investigating a brutal convenience store robbery. There is some comic relief among the carnage, though, as a Barney Fife-type uniform Officer Sutton (DJ Qualls).

Jason Lee wasn't necessarily looking for another TV series after "My Name Is Earl" ended last year, but another TV series kind of found him.
Lee stars in TNT's new show "Memphis Beat," in which he plays a dedicated Memphis detective named Dwight Hendricks who moonlights as an Elvis impersonator. It premieres at 10 p.m. Et Tuesday (June 22).
"It was a really big commitment working on 'Earl' and doing 20-some-odd episodes a season," Lee tells Zap2it. "But I learned a great deal as a producer, being on set and being hands-on and creatively involved. ... I thought, Oh, not another show. But it's so good, the material, and it's so different. I wanted to make myself available to the challenge of playing this role."
Here are five things you need to know going into Tuesday's premiere:
It's no joke. Despite the goofy-sounding premise -- cop by day! Elvis impersonator by night!

Patton Oswalt has taken a stroll away from starring in "Beach Lane."
The comedian was set to star as lazy millionaire heir James in the series, but following a table read Tuesday (April 13), he's no longer going to take the role, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
It's not certain if that means he's leaving the show altogether or if he'll take another part.
