Exclusive: ABC Entertainment Talent and Casting is once again highlighting emerging talent across the country with its 21st annual Disney Television Discovers: Talent Showcase, which will once again be a virtual, two-day event.
The event, which will take place on November 30 and December 1, will be presented to prominent casting directors, talent agents, managers and exclusive industry professionals. Actors in the cast curate meaningful relationships and gain continued support from executives from ABC Entertainment Casting. Directors and writers involved in the program have the opportunity to meet with creative departments within The Walt Disney Company.
The actors performing include Jane Bruce, Viveca Chow, Sarah V. Clifton, Nora Dale, Alex Fox, Ashley J. Hicks, Gabriela Z. Hernández, Naomi Honig, Maleah Joi Moon, Nandi Nfr Ka, Erika Norrell, Ana Yi Puig, Samuel-Taylor, Alfred Smith III, Christopher Trindade and Allie Vazquez.

New works hub New York Theatre Barn is teaming up with the Tony and Drama Desk Award-winning Bmi Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop to take a trip down memory lane by presenting an evening of 'assignment songs' from Bmi alumni. Hosted by Bmi Fun Committee members Kate Anderson,Timothy Huang and Sara Wordsworth, 'Your Holiday Assignment is.' will take place today, December 16, 2013 at 730 Pm at the D-Lounge of the Daryl Roth Theatre in New York City as part of New York Theatre Barn's revolutionary new musical development platform Nytb in the D-Lounge, produced by Laura Brandel and Jason Najjoum. Patrick Cook, director of the Musical Theatre Workshop, is also producing.

New York Theatre Barn will present a free private reading of the new musical Costs of Living November 7 and 8 in the Theatre District. Jose Llana The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee and Enrico Rodriguez Zanna, Dont, Rent will star. Costs of Living, with book, music and lyrics by Timothy Huang, was a selection of Stephen Schwartzs 2012 Ascap Musical Theatre Workshop and a 2012 American Harmony Prize finalist.
