- Mother, with ex-husband Valeriy Kukhareshin, of daughter Elizaveta Kukhareshina (b. 1977) and son Kondratiy Yakovlev (b. 1980).

- In May 2019, Yakovleva announced that she has been battling stage IV breast cancer for the last two years. As of July 2019, she received twenty courses of chemotherapy and lost 20 kg as a result of the illness. At some point of battling the illness, she was unable to speak and walk. The cancer later has metastasized to her brain, but she was in stable condition and the tumor stopped growing. In January 2022, it has been announced that she was recovering from brain surgery. On April 1, 2022, Yakovleva died at the age of 64 in Saint Petersburg, five years after she had been diagnosed with breast cancer.
