Nick Cannon would like to be excluded from Mariah Carey and Bryan Tanaka's narrative.
Et sat down with the 36-year-old Wild 'N Out star on Monday, where he commented on the news that his ex-wife, 47-year-old Carey, and Tanaka, her 33-year-old backup dancer, have split. A source close to the former couple tells Et that Carey and Tanaka's relationship has been "tapering off" for a while, and another source close to Tanaka says that he had "long been jealous" of Carey's still-close relationship with Cannon.
"I know nothing about this," Cannon tells Et. "I got too many of my own relationship issues to be worried about an old relationship."

Nick Cannon is getting candid about his unexpected departure from America's Got Talent.
The 36-year-old comedian recently sat down with Et's Kevin Frazier while filming Wild 'N Out: Live in Times Square, where he opened up about not wanting to be "defined" by his job, whether it's as the host of a hugely popular reality TV show, a musician, a producer or a stand-up comic.
"The entertainment industry itself [can] compartmentalize you," Cannon shared. "[People] get caught in a sense of like, 'You should be happy to be here,' or, 'It is the dream job. Things like this don't come along to everyone.' But things like that don't define me."

Director Paul Feig — he of Bridesmaids and The Heat fame — ain’t afraid of 1) No ghosts, and 2) Casting lesser-known actresses to front his divisive Ghostbusters reboot, as proven by his choice of Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones to star alongside Feig regulars Melissa McCarthy and Kristen Wiig.
Anyone see that coming? (We didn’t.)
Which isn’t to say we aren’t excited about this cast. Quite the opposite: If you’re a Saturday Night Live fan, you already know Kate McKinnon is one of the funniest, smartest actresses working these days. And Leslie Jones steals just about every scene she’s in. If you’re not an SNL fan, here’s a quick cheat sheet to get you up to speed.

For aspiring entertainers, it’s easy to want to give up the dream when you turn on the TV or flip through a magazine. You’re bombarded with images of superstar prodigies, making millions doing what you’re hustling to do and amassing thousands of fans all before they’re even old enough to rent a car. The myth is: once you’re 25, you’re way past your prime. That Oscar? Forget it and find a desk job.
Selma director Ava DuVernay, 42, is here to remind you that life isn’t over just because your younger peers got an early start. After 12 years in publicity, DuVernay quit her day job to be a full-time filmmaker, a passion she discovered later in life after witnessing Michael Mann work on the set of Collateral. At 32, she released her first short film Saturday Night Life. And since then, she hasn’t stopped making movies.

Being a star comes with a lot of scrutiny, and all of your mistakes become front page news. Whether it's a drunk driving arrest, or simply riding your bike the wrong way down a street, if you end up in handcuffs, it ends up being a top story. And this year had no shortage of stars having run-ins with the police. Here's a look back on the year's 36 biggest celebrity arrests.
Tito Ortiz – The former Mma fighter was arrested on Jan. 6 on suspicion of driving under the influence after he drove his Porsche Panamera into the concrete median on the 405 freeway in L.A. at 4am.
Flavor Flav – The 55-year-old rapper was arrested on Jan. 9 for speeding while traveling to his mother's funeral. When police pulled him over, they discovered that he had 16 suspensions on his license and was allegedly in possession of marijuana.

Saturday Night Live this weekend featured Chris Rock as the host and musical guest Prince.
Cold Open
For the Cold Open, Saturday Night Live decided to tackle the topic of Ebola – specifically New Jersey Governor Chris Christie’s (Bobby Moynihan) decision to impose a quarantine on nurse Kaci Hickox, who returned from Africa – and said nurse’s particularly cavalier behavior upon returning to Maine. “I don’t care if I have Ebloa," she says. "I’m riding my damn bike.”
Chris Rock Monologue
Chris Rock’s opening monologue started off with a controversial bit about the Boston Marathon. After noting how far 26 miles actually is, Rock said, “You finally get to the finish line, and somebody screams, ‘Run!,’” referring to the finish line bomb. As for the Freedom Tower that was erected following New York City’s 9/11 terrorist attack, Rock said it should be called the, “Never Going in There Tower,...

Yesterday was about the Oscars, but there was another important entertainment event – the Razzie nominations. And this year, Adam Sandler destroyed the previous record for nominations, racking up a stunning 11 nominations across three separate movies. I find I almost always agree with the Razzies more than the Oscars.
The pope just can't keep his mind out of the bedroom. He's now reaffirmed the Vatican's 2008 position that says that procreation should only happen in the bedroom, not the laboratory. “The human and Christian dignity of procreation, in fact, doesn’t consist in a ‘product,’” he said, “ but in its link to the conjugal act, an expression of the love of the spouses of their union, not only biological but also spiritual.” And yet he's totally against my conjugal act. But he seems to think about it more than I do.

Red Foxx, Richard Pryor, Bill Cosby, Wanda Sykes, Dave Chappelle... say any of their names to a serious fan of comedy and you're likely to elicit a reverential sigh of importance, followed by a word-for-word recitation of one of their most famous bits.
Black performers have played a pivotal role not just in entertainment, but in changing the way blacks and whites in America lived, worked and related to each other. And comedians especially, with their penchant for crossing lines and speaking uncomfortable truths, have been some of the most influential artists of the last century.
In honor of Black History Month, we wanted to take a look at the influence of black comedians through the eyes of the artists who are following in their footsteps.
So we brought six up-and-coming young comics together for a unique roundtable discussion about comedy, race and the most influential performers of the past and present.

We're absolutely obsessed with Jay Pharoah, featured performer on Saturday Night Live, and amazing impersonator. Here's a video of him, slightly drunk at a party, entertaining his fellow guests with hysterical impressions of Will Smith, Eddie Murphy, Dmx, Chris Tucker, Obama, 50 Cent, Cassidy, and Kat Williams. Watch and be immensely jealous of his talent.
Can Jay Pharoah come to all of our parties? Ology will gladly supply the champagne.

The Skids and Mudflap disaster of Revenge Of The Fallen is one that has still burned a crater in my mind to this day. Who would have thought that making two robots talk like Kat Williams, have gold teeth and say that they can’t read would be a terrible, terrible idea? Well if you think Michael Bay has learned his lesson about racial robot stereotyping, you’re wrong. ToplessRobot recently got a look at some of the upcoming toys for Dark Of The Moon, and yes, that is a...

In an interview he recently did with TvSquad.com, Ice-t sounded off on a few things regarding his character Detective Odafin “Fin” Tutuola on Law & Order: Svu. “I would like to find out where I live,” he said. The actor and former rapper has appeared on the series since 2000 but acknowledged his character’s life remains a mystery. “I don’t have a car.”
Overall, he stated “…I’m happy with Fin, I’m happy” but he would like to see a romantic relationship develop. “Every time a girl gets in my sights — it seems like I have a love interest that never works. They had a reporter show up once and I kind of flirted with her, but she disappeared. Then we had the new Ada [played by Paula Patton] show up one episode and we kind of had a moment, and [Patton] actually left to go work on Mission Impossible.”

Michael Clarke Duncan really should be in more action movies. He has the look and build. He’s a big, mean-looking mofo. Yes? No? He isn’t what I’d call a great actor, but, neither was Schwarzenegger, nor is The Rock. Duncan and Kat Williams join an ensemble cast of voice actors for Cats & Dogs: The Revenge Of Kitty Galore. The film opens July 30th. You know you’re going to see this. Don’t lie! :...
