- Her best friend is Vanessa Marcil. They met on the set of NBC's Las Vegas (2003). Suzanne is the godmother of Vanessa's son, Kassius.

- In 2006, she was diagnosed with breast cancer. The disease reached its stage IV in 2011 and she was given 6 months to live. She miraculously reversed the disease, reclaimed her health, and went into complete remission. The disease later returned and she died on September 17, 2019 in her Los Angeles home after a 13-year battle with cancer, just 11 days before her 57th birthday.

The wedding was at the Church of St. Paul and St. Andrew in NYC where they first met in 1993, doing a play called "My Sister Eileen" together at the theatre on the 2nd floor. They have subsequently parted ways.

- "Seoul Mates", the short film she co-starred in and co-wrote, won the Best Acting Award and the Audience Award at the Los Angeles 48 Hour Film Festival in 2002. The team of people who created this film included Mark Gantt, Bailey Williams, Charlie Hartsock, and Kirstin Pierce.
- Was the first person to send Oprah Winfrey The Secret (2006) DVD, which led to Oprah doing two episodes about the Law of Attraction. Suzanne flew to Chicago for the taping, met Oprah, told her story on Oprah After the Show (2002) on the Oxygen network, and became friends with Rev. Michael Beckwith of the Agape Spiritual Center as a result.
- Was in a relationship with Jeff Vezain. He refers to her as his "soul twin.".
- Won the Andy Kaufman award at the 1st Annual New York Comedy Festival in 2004, performing as her alter ego as Sung Hee Park.
- Took piano lessons starting at age 9 for seven years. Performed in classical music recitals.
