Stoney Westmoreland, who played the grandfather on the Disney Channel’s Andi Mack before being arrested on federal charges of enticing a 13-year-old boy for sex, will spend the weekend in jail for violating terms of his probation.
“I hope you use this time to understand this is a serious situation that you’re in,” Magistrate Judge Cecilia Romero told Westmoreland. He was taken into custody Friday in Salt Lake City.
Westmoreland, 49, violated two terms of his supervised release. Pretrial officers claiimed they could not access his roommate’s room in their Los Angeles home in October and November. He also missed a September deadline to turn over his digital media.
“The court finds his behavior has implicated safety to the community, because we’re not able to get into that room,” she said. His failure on the digital media showed a “lackadaisicalness” on complying with terms of his parole.

Over three seasons, Disney Channel’s “Andi Mack” has tackled everything from learning disabilities to coming out. Centered on a multi-generational Asian American family, the show follows the titular Andi Mack (played by Peyton Elizabeth Lee) as she wades through middle school life after learning a bombshell of her own: that the woman she thought was her older sister, Bex (Lilan Bowden), is actually her biological mother and Andi’s birth, a result of an unplanned pregnancy. But now the series that won both a GLAAD Award and a Television Academy Honor for “television with a conscience” in 2018, is signing off.
The show ends its run with Andi grappling with the possibility of leaving her friends for art school.
“I didn’t want to end with a cliffhanger. I believe people will miss Andi and her friends and her family,” creator and co-executive producer Terri Minsky tells Variety. “To me,...

Disney Channel’s comedy-drama “Andi Mack” will end after three seasons, the network said on Wednesday.
The series will return for its final episodes on June 21 and air its series finale on July 26.
“‘Andi Mack’ was a labor of love for a room of impassioned, inventive writers, a talented and dedicated crew, and an extraordinary, miraculous cast who inspired us all. We had the honor of breaking a lot of new ground for Disney Channel,” said creator and executive producer Terri Minsky. “We were its first serialized show, its first series centered around an Asian American family, and its first to feature an LGBTQ character who spoke the words ‘I’m gay.’ But the best part of making ‘Andi Mack’ was our audience, who let us know we mattered to them. The series finale is for them.

Agents of Shield, Season 2, Episode 16: “Afterlife”
Written by Craig Titley
Directed by Kevin Hooks
Airs Tuesdays at 9pm (Et) on ABC
After Bobbi and Gonzalez’s big hero moment and Skye’s escape in “One Door Closes”, “Afterlife” is set up to be a bit of a let-down, or at least a slowdown by comparison. There are plenty of good hero moments, like the return of Deathlok, and Fitz-Simmons pulling the wool over Bobbi’s eyes. Even with these moments, the episode’s focus on Skye slows everything down to introduce Afterlife and fit in lots of exposition from Lincoln, played by guest star Luke Mitchell (The Tomorrow People).
It is difficult to gauge Mitchell’s performance as Lincoln based only on “Afterlife”, because as Skye’s guide in this world, most of his dialogue is exposition. The large majority of his scenes with Skye are just Skye walking...
