The women vying for Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s heart have finally been revealed!
ABC unveiled the 29 women hoping to find love on The Bachelor in a press release on Friday. Interestingly, shared the women "who can be revealed" -- and 29 is less than the 30 women who competed for Nick Viall last season of The Bachelor.
The average age of this season's women is 27, nine years younger than Luyendyk. Among them are four Laurens, two Rebeccas (though one spells her name Rebekah), two Brittanys (one spells her name Brittane), a Jenny and a Jenna. Something tells us things will get a little complicated on night one!

Amber, 29, business owner, Denver, Colorado

Annaliese, 32, event designer, San Francisco, California

Get ready to celebrate the new year with new love (hopefully).
Arie Luyendyk Jr.'s season of The Bachelor will premiere on Jan. 1, 2018, because honestly, the premiere of this show should be a national holiday anyway.
Along with the big premiere date, ABC also revealed a brand new poster featuring Luyendyk's salt-and-pepper hair and his new tagline: "Worth the wait."
The 36-year-old race car driver has certainly been waiting. He last appeared on a Bachelor show in 2012, after getting his heart broken in the finale of Emily Maynard's season of The Bachelorette. Though Luyendyk's casting in September seemed to come out of nowhere, ABC executive Robert Mills told Et that the timing was right for the Arizona native to find love.

"He's incredibly sincere," Mills insisted. "He's dated a lot of women since Emily, but he says he's never been in love since Emily, and that's...

Peter Kraus already broke his silence in an emotional Instagram post after Arie Luyendyk was officially announced as the next Bachelor star but he didn't exactly reveal why he lost the opportunity to hand out roses in season 22. Peter Kraus won’t be finding his forever love on the upcoming season of The Bachelor, but there’s a possibility he could in the future.
On Thursday, Bachelor Nation was shocked to learn that Kraus — the runner-up on Rachel Lindsay‘s season 13 of The Bachelorette — wouldn’t be the franchise’s new leading man and that fellow Bachelorette alum Arie Luyendyk Jr. was selected instead.
But before Luyendyk Jr. was officially chosen, 31-year-old Kraus was one of the contenders that were in the running for the coveted position of Bachelor.
“Peter was absolutely in discussion. He sort of alluded to that as well.

It's no secret that Nick Viall has been unlucky in love during his tenure in the Bachelor franchise. The poor guy has been runner-up in not one, but two consecutive seasons of The Bachelorette and, considering his new gig as The Bachelor, all signs point to another letdown for Nick once all is said and done on this season of Bachelor in Paradise. But the powers that be at ABC feel certain that the fourth time is the charm—and that The Bachelor is where he was always meant to be. "I think part of his charm that's really come out on Bachelor in Paradise is he's so great with the girls, and not as a romantic interest to all of them, but almost as a big brother or good male friend," ABC exec Robert Mills...

Update: Yeah, fans had strong reactions after Kaitlyn and Nick got hot and heavy in Dublin. It didn't help that they made out in a church (!) before going back to her hotel room. Check out some of the reactions on Twitter -- a lot of fans were most disgusted that she did this with Nick. If it were Shawn, maybe they'd feel differently. But no, making out in a church would not go over well with anyone.

The idea of a fantasy suite just got a whole lot funnier!
After her hilarious appearance on "The Bachelorette" this week, ABC is courting Amy Schumer as the lucky lady who would be handing out roses to potential suitors.
The idea might seem like a stunt, but Robert Mills, ABC Entertainment's Senior Vice President of Alternative Series, Specials and Late-Night Programming, made the idea social media official.

The Bachelorette wants to make our dreams come true. Between the boxing and the stand-up comedy, a lot happened on The Bachelorette Monday.
But the key takeaway – other than that having a bunch of dudes hit each other is an awkward way to impress a lady – is that a lot of people really liked Amy Schumer's appearance. – and now ABC executive Robert Mills is saying he wants the comedian to be the next lady looking for love on national TV.
