KollywoodMuthiah seems to be convinced that cape-wearing superheroes who will not flinch to break bones or behead criminals for the sake of "protecting" women are the answer to all sexual crimes.Anjana ShekarCyclone Fani may have changed its route and deprived Tamil Nadu of its much-needed summer showers but director Muthaiah is not one to budge from his ‘comfort zone’, and is consistent in dishing out one film after another with the same crux but different add-ons. After the debacle of Kodiveeran with Sasikumar, Muthaiah is back once again to his Madurai mann (soil) with Devarattam starring Gautham Karthik and Manjma Mohan in the lead roles. The film also stars Soori, Bose Vengat, Vinodhini Vaidhyanathan and Fefsi Vijayan in important roles. If you are familiar with his previous films like Kutti Puli, Komban, Marudhu and Kodiveeran, you’ll already know that Gautham Karthik plays an angry young man from Madurai.

It’s true that there is no one like the macho man Salman Khan in the B town. When it comes to action sequences he is the ultimate hero.
The action sequences in Wanted and Dabangg certainly added a lot to Salman Khan's powerful performances and were instrumental in making the characters he played more likeable.
Hence, for Bodyguard, the actor insisted on roping in action director Vijayan Master, his current favourite. "We are on the same wavelength, we know exactly what is expected from each other," says t ...

Salman Khan has injured his arm during shooting for Arbaaz Khan’s Dabangg.
The injury, believed to be a torn ligament, occurred while Sallu was filming an action scene with action director Vijayan (with whom Sallu previously worked with on Wanted). Salman completed the day’s filming but according to witnesses was obviously in a lot of pain. The actor is believed to have exacerbated a previous injury and is unable to continue filming action scenes until the problem is resolved.
Producer-director Arbaaz Khan confirmed Salman’s injury.
"Salman had an old injury or maybe the ligament he sprained was already strained. When he started shooting, the injury got aggravated. Salman took painkillers that day but by evening, his arm was all swollen and bruised. The next day, it got worse and he requested our action master to shoot without him for a day.
