Milly Alcock will be starring in Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow, with the film set to be scripted by Ana Nogueira and based on the comic series of the same name written by Tom King and illustrated by Bilquis Evely. She wants revenge, and if Supergirl doesn’t help her, she’ll do it herself, whatever the cost. Matthias Schoenaerts (Rust and Bone) will play Krem of the Yellow Hill, the villain who kills Knoll’s father.

As far as Harry Potter characters are concerned, Lord Voldemort is undoubtedly one of the most important and popular ones in the franchise as a whole. Why? Well, despite the fact that he is the series’ main villain, Voldemort managed to present himself as a major and believable villain, which is what the fans always appreciate.
The actor was portrayed by several actors before it was revealed that the resurrected Voldemort would be portrayed by legendary actor Ralph Fiennes, who did an amazing job in the movies, and it was his interpretation that helped make the character more popular. Despite hating him, everyone wanted to see more of Fiennes’ Voldemort.
The movies are, of course, over, and we know that a television series focused on the books is being worked on, which means that we will soon get new actors and actresses in old roles.

The Prime Video satirical superhero series "The Boys" is a lot of things — it's disturbing, hilarious, and tackles comic book culture with a deeply jaded viewpoint. One would think that with such a unique combination of factors, there just couldn't be anything else on TV like it. Thankfully, you'd be very, very wrong. There has been a boom in subversive superhero and comic book fare in the past decade or so, and there are some truly great shows that can tide fans of "The Boys" over until the fifth and final season premieres in the next year or two.
Each of these shows has something in common with "The Boys," from comic book origins to truly twisted humor to extreme violence, and they're all fantastic in their own right. Fans of "The Boys" should find lots to love in each of these 10 brilliant, occasionally demented shows. And it should go without saying,...

Rogue One was the unlikeliest of Star Wars success stories: a spinoff movie revolving around an entirely new cast of characters trying to steal plans for the Death Star. And then at the end everybody...well, I guess I shouldn't spoil things explicitly. The movie came out in 2016; you can find out happens if you want.
In any case, Rogue One was a big hit at the box office, but it was still surprising when we heard that Disney was going to make a spinoff TV show about supporting character Cassian Andor, a rebel willing to give anything in the fight against the Empire. Once again, Andor turned into an unlikely success; many fans consider it the best Star Wars TV show Disney has yet made.
The upcoming second season of Andor will bring back more of the Rogue One cast, including K-2So, a reprogrammed Imperial droid given to sarcasm and back talk.

Andor Season 2 is one of the most highest anticipated series of next year. Not just for Star Wars, but the series was praised across the board by critics and non-Star Wars fans alike. As a prequel to Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, fans of the film have enjoyed the nods and cameos. While it's been known that Cassian Andor's faithful droid companion K-2So would return for the second season, we got a confirmation from the actor himself, Alan Tudyk.
Sitting down with Collider at New York Comic Con 2024, Tudyk confirmed, "Yeah, I’m gonna be in it. I can't tell you how much, so I still have secrets and I can't say anything about it, but it was fun to be back with Diego Luna."
Tudyk also took the time to praise showrunner Tony Gilroy, saying, "Tony Gilroy is a very skilled writer. He's a big-brained guy. It...

Back in 2022, Peter Safran and Guardians of the Galaxy director James Gunn were named as co-chairs of DC Studios, meaning that they're in charge of making movies and TV shows based on DC Comics. Warner Bros. Discovery hasn't had as much success in this area as it would like, with films like Justice League underperforming and films like Blue Beetle flying largely under the radar. Can they turn things around?
The first big movie made under Safran and Gunn's stewardship will be Superman, which makes sense; if you're rebooting the DC Cinematic Universe, why not start with DC's most recognizable hero (give or take Batman)? "We’re deep in the process of editing," Gunn said of the movie at New York Comic Con, per The Hollywood Reporter. "David Corenswet is going to fucking blow people away. He is the movie star that everyone just dreams he could possibly be.

DC Studios has released a new trailer for Creature Commandos at New York Comic Con which offers us a much better idea of what to expect from both the Max animated series and the new Dcu.
It starts by explaining the premise of the show as Amanda Waller, no longer allowed to assemble human prisoners for Task Force X, rounds up these creatures to form a new team overseen by Rick Flag Sr. We're introduced to each member of the team and get a first look at Wonder Woman villain Circe, Creature Commandos' big bad.
Another major talking point is the presence of Batman bad guy Clayface. He looks very comic-accurate and, with James Gunn confirming we'll see these characters in future live-action projects, this must mean the Dcu's Dark Knight has crossed paths with the shape-shifting rogue.

The DC Universe is in desperate need of a reset, and it's about to get one next year. DC Studios co-heads James Gunn and Peter Safran have an ambitious plan for a unified DC multiverse, which they first laid out in early 2023. While that kicks off in earnest with Gunn's "Superman" movie next summer, it is technically the animated "Creature Commandos" that will usher in this new era for the Dcu. Fresh from the halls of New York Comic Con, we've got a brand new trailer for the series, which hits the Max streaming service in December. Have a look for yourself.
"Creature Commandos" is sort of a spin-off of "The Suicide Squad" in that it's Amanda Waller once again leading a team of not-so-good people executing missions that the good guys can't or won't do. We've also got some returning characters, most notably Weasel, but it's largely a...

Diego Luna finished filming his final scenes as Cassian Andor months ago, but Andor Season 2 still hasn't been given an official release date. While promoting his new show, La Maquina, co-starring his real-life best friend, Gael Garcia Bernal, Luna told RadioTimes that Andor is coming, but he can't reveal anything about it.
I can't really tell you anything about 'Andor,' but it's coming out. It's coming out, and it's great. The writing of Tony Gilroy is really powerful.Diego Luna.
Andor was originally anticipated to be released much earlier but is now expected to premiere sometime early next year. Luna will reprise his role as Cassian Andor, whose life takes a dramatic turn after he joins the Rebellion. The second and final season will cover four years in Cassian's life before the events of Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, likely including Cassian's journey to becoming a valuable asset to the Rebel Alliance.

Earlier this month a few screenshots were released for The Electric State, the feature being produced through Netflix that adapts Simon Stålenhag’s 2018 graphic novel of the same name. Thanks to the publicity machine that is Nycc 2024, we now have a full trailer for this thing, and…. I might be alone in this but I was hoping for something a bit wackier, given what we learned about The Electric State two weeks ago. The movie goes off on a different path from the book, and is set in an alternate 1994 where goofy-looking animatronic robots have risen up and displaced humanity as the leaders of the world. It’s in this situation that we find Michelle (Millie Bobby Brown), an ex-musician on the hunt for her brother. One day a smiling yellow robot shows up and implies he knows exactly where Bro is. Thus the journey begins. This could still turn out to be a comedy,...

“The Electric State” is alive.
The new sci-fi adventure, from Anthony and Joe Russo (the directors of “Avengers: Infinity War” and “Endgame”), stars Millie Bobby Brown and Chris Pratt — and you can get a first look at the wild, robot-filled world in the brand-new trailer out Thursday. Watch it below.
The movie, based on the graphic novel by Simon Stålenhag (whose work also inspired the Prime Video series “Tales From the Loop”), takes place in an alternate 1990s that has survived a robot uprising that started when the animatronics developed by Walt Disney for Disneyland gained sentience. Now the robots live in exile.
Brown plays Michelle, an orphaned teenager living in this post-apocalyptic society, whose missing brother makes contact with her via a robot. She hires a smuggler named Keats (Pratt) to help get her across the wasteland and find her brother, all while discovering the mystery behind his disappearance.

Millie Bobby Brown may soon be saying bye to the ’80s-set “Stranger Things,” but the Netflix staple star isn’t traveling far in time (or space) for her upcoming film “The Electric State.”
Brown leads the adventure feature alongside Marvel alum Chris Pratt, who reunites with his “Avengers: Endgame” co-directors Anthony and Joe Russo for the 1990s-set film. Brown plays Michelle, an orphaned teen who is navigating life in a society where sentient robots resembling cartoons and mascots live in exile after a failed uprising. Yet after Michelle befriends lovable robot Cosmo, who appears to be controlled by her maybe-dead younger brother, she sets out to find the truth about what really happened to her family.
Of course, Brown’s co-star Pratt seems to be continuing his “Guardians of the Galaxy” alter ego by once again playing a futuristic smuggler.

Even though The Electric State was first intended to be released in 2024, the film will now make its streaming debut on Netflix in 2025. On Oct. 17, Netflix announced that the movie will release on March 14, 2025. More than anything,...

Mads Mikkelsen, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story's Galen Erso, is coming to Star Wars Celebration 2025, which takes place in Japan next April.
Mikkelsen's appearance was officially confirmed as part of an updated list of guests who are set to appear at next year's celebration, which takes place from April 18-20, 2025. The list also includes Alan Tudyk, who plays Cassian Andor's droid companion, K-2So. Tudyk is set to reprise his role in Andor Season 2. Other guests include Temuera Morrison, Manny Jacinto, Ashley Eckstein, Anthony Daniels, Daniel Logan, and Doug Chiang. This list is bound to grow even bigger and seems to hint at a possible return of Galen Erso in Andor Season 2.
Erso's possible return in Andor Season 2 makes complete sense, as Season 1 ended with an ominous tease of the Death Star, which Erso designs. As an Imperial Scientist, Galen Erso was to the Death Star as J. Robert Oppenheimer...

Nobody thinks they’ve got an accent, which means they really notice when someone is imitating their accent so badly that it borders on mockery. For instance, most Americans would describe their own speech as “normal,” but have you ever heard a foreign actor just completely bomb it? If not, go watch Iwan Rheon pretend to be an American rock star in The Dirt, Just his scenes, though. That movie is a lot.
That’s why it’s all the more impressive when they get it right, even if, by the nature of getting it right, you never even notice. “In high school, I remember people being shocked to learn Hugh Laurie was English when House was huge,” Redditor homeMalone89 told r/Movies. “I think Daniel Kaluuya’s American accent work is the best there currently is.”

Paramount+ today debuted the official trailer and key art for season three of the original animated series Transformers: EarthSpark, which follows a new generation of Transformers robots – the first to be born on Earth – and together with the humans who welcome them and care for them, they redefine what it means to be a family.
All eight episodes of the third season will premiere on Friday, October 25, exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S., and begin rolling out internationally on that date as well.
In season three, a giant-size Dome divides the town of Witwicky and traps the Decepticons inside, but it can’t hold them forever. The Malto family and the Autobots must figure out a long-term solution, and help arrives from an unlikely place.
While doing all they can to get life back to normal again, a mysterious saboteur threatens the Autobots, and Robby and Mo face a...

Science fiction has always been a genre meant to inspire and caution us in equal measure, and 2004's "I, Robot" is no exception. Taking place in the year 2035 in a future where self-driving cars are the norm, legions of robots have taken over menial tasks, and Converse All-Star sneakers are still as fresh as ever, director Alex Proyas' messy action movie was a solid hit upon release and has aged surprisingly well -- particularly as our own reality has taken larger and larger steps toward a similar status quo. One can easily imagine Will Smith's old-school cop Del Spooner looking at our own reality and stubbornly rolling his eyes at our own acceptance of and overreliance on AI. Sure, we're not quite at the level of technological advancement that Proyas and writers Jeff Vintar and Akiva Goldsman envisioned (to say nothing of famed author Isaac Asimov himself, who wrote...
