Robert is the second of four boys. His parents are Raymond and Angie
Tiffe. He graduated from Bedford High School. He then studied Fine Arts
at Cooper Art School in Cleveland, Ohio. When he moved to Los Angeles
he enrolled at Film Industry Workshops Inc. in Studio City, where he
continued his education in directing and acting. During this time he
also gained experience as a cameraman and gaffer. In April 1991 he
directed and produced and edited his first feature Dead End (1992). Two years
later he directed, produced, wrote and acted in his second feature
Sword of Honor (1996). During this time, one of his scripts was acquired and made into
the feature Deadly Bet (1992). His knowledge of fine art, directing, acting,
writing, cinematography, producing and editing gives him a well balanced
sensibility as a filmmaker.
He co-wrote the feature Face of Terror (2004). He has just finished shooting Hatchetman (2003), which he directed and co-wrote based on an original script of his.
