- I started as an actor, and began to write after playing many leading roles Off-Broadway and becoming Associate Director of CSC Repertory in New York. My plays have been performed Off-Broadway, in regional theaters, on a USA tour, and in eleven countries in seven languages. A dozen are published; sixteen more are online. Actors Theatre of Louisville, Chicago Shakespeare Theatre, Peoples Light & Theatre, The Acting Company and Cheltenham Center commissioned and produced plays from me. Abbey National Theatre, Ireland; Ankara State Theatre, Turkey; Aalborg State Theatre, Denmark; and City Theatre, Finland, produced my plays and musical. Like any actor, I love telling stories that bridge divides - between the sexes, cultures, countries, past and present worlds.- IMDb Mini Biography By: Karen Sunde

- I'm a story-teller. Life fascinates me, so I portray it in any form it seems to call for. Off-Broadway I got to play many great roles, and by then I was writing - action-adventure, Sci-Fi, romance, comedy, bio-pics, musicals, drama - from anytime or anywhere for anyone who needed a good story told. Twelve of my plays have been published, performed in eleven countries in seven languages, but there's always more people to write for, more audience to reach. And I love it.
