Shia Labeouf's first kiss was one he'll never forget. The 33-year-old actor shared the onscreen smooch on the set of Even Stevens. The Louis Stevens star recalled the memorable moment in an interview with W published Friday. "The producers knew I had a crush on this girl, and they wrote a scene where we kissed," he told the magazine about his first peck. "I was nervous. I matured late that way." Labeouf didn't reveal the name of his childhood crush. However, there was a season three episode called "The Kiss" in which Louis kissed Margo Harshman's character Tawny Dean. There was also an episode called "Beans on the Brain" in which Louis...

Earlier today we were #blessed with the news that That's So Raven is getting a Disney spinoff in which Raven-Symoné is set to return! The currently untitled show will find Raven as a divorced mom of a preteen son and daughter, one of whom has inherited her ability to see glimpses of the future. The news got us so riled up with excitement, we started thinking about all the other Disney shows we'd love to see revived...Where is Louis Stevens now? Did Lizzie McGuire and Gordo end up finding ever-lasting love? Does Kim Possible still use a pager? Needless to say, we couldn't help but create our own ideas for spinoffs of our favorite shows—some a little crazy...

Before Shia Labeouf was known for turning hitchhiking into performance art, making a paper bag the most-talked about red carpet accessory, and being an actual cannibal (well, at least in this awesome song), he was Louis Stevens. 16 years ago today, Even Stevens premiered on Disney Channel, making a star out of then 14-year-old Labeouf. The shenanigans of the Stevens family were on display on the Disney Channel for three seasons, plus The Even Stevens Movie, serving as the series finale. Other notable June 17 happenings in pop culture history: • 1964: The Supremes released the single “Where Did Our Love Go.” It was their first song to hit the top of the U.S. singles chart. • 1967: Barbra Streisand sang for over 135,000 fans in New York’s Central Park. A recording of the free concert was released as her first live album, A Happening In Central Park. • 1977: The much-maligned sequel to The Exorcist,...

Shia Labeouf had us doing a double take when he popped up at the Cannes Film Festival this week. After previously sporting a braided mullet and going completely bald, Shia returned to his roots - literally - and let his natural curls grow out. The best part? He looks just like he did back in the early 2000s when he starred as Louis Stevens on the Disney channel sitcom Even Stevens. We're loving this look! Shia attended a Cannes photocall and red carpet premiere for his new film, American Honey, which he stars in with Riley Keough, Sasha Lane, and McCaul Lombardi. The 29-year-old seemed to be having a blast while posing for photos, as he cracked up with his costars and busted out a few dance moves before making his way up the famed staircase. For some extra context: the last time Shia was in Cannes, he was wearing...

It's the battle of the real life Disney princes and princesses! We ranked nine former Disney Channel actors and actresses who are now even bigger stars—huge, in fact! No. 9 on our list is Shia Labeouf, 29, who starred on Even Stevens as Louis Stevens. The show aired for three seasons until 2003, after which he appeared in big box office films such as Transformers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, Transformers: Dark of the Moon and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Then came several years of some rather strange, headline-making behavior, a rehab stint and a brief retirement from public life. Labeouf can be seen...

Louis Stevens, is that you? Shia Labeouf has had a busy and bizarre few months, (hiring skywriters to apologize for plagiarizing, getting into feuds with Lena Dunham and Jenny McCarthy) but the actor may have topped himself in Berlin on Saturday, Feb. 9. During the premiere for his film Nymphomaniac, the actor showed up wearing a brown paper bag over his head. (In January 2009, the actor also wore a brown paper bag while heading into a liquor store in L.A.) Labeouf, 24, wore a suit on [...]...

Source: Getty According to Vogue, Lena Dunham is "the new queen of comedy," and we can't help but notice that her Twitter account reigns supreme, too. In December, Lena told Salon about her Twitter habits, opening up about the fact that it's sometimes challenging to juggle social media among all her other responsibilities. "I'm a writer, and sort of an actor, and a director," she said, "but I'm also supposed to be able to pose for photos and have an amazing Twitter that doesn't offend anybody." Well, her Twitter feed is pretty amazing, and it made headlines this week when she used it to help a stranger sell a couch. Yes, a couch. Source: Craigslist On Tuesday, a Brooklyn resident named Mickey Dwyer listed a couch on Craigslist, calling it "basically the Lena Dunham of couches." With a picture of Lena photoshopped beside his couch, Mickey's listing managed to sound...

Need further proof that life imitates art? Try this: While troublemaker Shia Labeouf was releasing a series of plagiarized mea culpas in order to “apologize” for copying the work of artist Daniel Clowes, his former Even Stevens costar Christy Carlson Romano was busy doing something mature and responsible — that is, getting married to her longtime boyfriend at a Canadian castle. Classic Louis and Ren, am I right? (In case you’re not up on your ’00s Disney Channel sitcoms: LeBeouf’s Louis Stevens was “immature, rude, and selfish.” His older sister Ren, played by Romano, was “an intelligent, well-behaved perfectionist.

His string of emphatic apologies over Twitter caused quite a stir and Shia Labeouf's tweets even prompted Lena Dunham to comment on the incident.
Responding to his plagiarizing of artist Daniel Clowes with his directed short film "HowardCantour.com," the "Transformers" star begged for forgiveness via social media.
Commenting on his bizarre decision to hire a skywriter to display a message to the artist, the "Girls" creator wrote, "I've always felt, utterly and unchangeably, that only sociopaths hire skywriters."
In response, the 27-year-old actor took an old interview quote from her and posted it to Twitter, reading, "I don't mind creating debate with thoroughly considered artistic expressions but I don't want to offend with a tweet. Sorry world."
Continuing the dialogue, Lena tweeted, "Vaguely recognized Shia Labeouf's latest twitter apology and realized it was Mine! Touché, Louis Stevens," followed by, "Projecting a lot of rage against my 7th grade boyfriend on Labeouf.

Shia Laboeuf's skywriting apology for plagiarizing Daniel Clowes has attracted a lot of attention. But some of the most amusing attention came on Saturday (Jan. 4) when Lena Dunham turned her considerable wit to the issue.
The two young show-business stars engaged in a brief but entertaining conversation via Twitter.
This skywriting debate comes after weeks of trouble in Labeouf's life after he was accused of plagiarizing his short film, "Howard Cantour.com," from the work of Clowes. After many apologies for what Labeouf saw as a mistake were not received well -- partially because the apologies themselves contained more plagiarism -- the actor made a grand gesture: He hired a skywriter to broadcast a new apology in the sky.
Some objected to this over-the-top response too. Dunham may have agreed with them. She started the Twitter discussion with her rather decided views on the mental state of those who deal in skywriting:

Since his days playing perpetual schemer Louis Stevens on Even Stevens, Shia Labeouf has shed the majority of his Disney innocence thanks to professional feuds and a tendency to get naked on camera. Damn, Louis Stevens! Shia Labeouf reveals his insanely buff chest and abs in a new Instagram and— No, Shia. Shh, Shia. Gawker is reporting that Shia Labeouf, who recently joined Lars von Trier‘s Nymphomaniac, may be having real sex in the film. The young actor’s involvement in the project may be surprising to some, but considering he appeared completely nude in a recent music video not too long ago, this career choice doesn’t shock me.
Furthermore, von Trier is no stranger to extremes. He’s known for some very shocking films and somehow manages to get most of his actors to partake in some very “uncomfortable” scenes. After all, Kirsten Dunst did her first nude scene for the director in Melancholia and both Willem Dafoe and Charlotte Gainsbourg went to some dark places in Antichrist.
As for Nymphomaniac, no word yet on what the scenes will depict and in fact, it’s not even certain that Labeouf will be featured in the more explicit scenes. All we do...

Shia Labeouf first appeared on the scene as dorky brother Louis Stevens in the Disney comedy "Even Stevens" in 1999, long before his status as Hollywood heartthrob was existent. It would take until 2007 for studio hits such as "Disturbia" and "Transformers" to catapult him to fame and open the door to a public brashness that burned more bridges than it built. And now the 26-year-old Labeouf has declared that he's cutting ties with the big-budget studios to join the independent film community permanently, a development that may suit the studios as well. In an exclusive interview Labeouf gave to "The Hollywood Reporter" yesterday, the actor talked about his future filmmaking plans, and he was less than subtle in his intention to "bolt" from the studio family, which behaves very different from, to use Labeouf's example, Voltage Pictures, the financier of his new period film "Lawless": "These...

Shia Labeouf is becoming quite the exhibitionist. First he let it all hang out this past June in Sigur Rós' music video for "Fjögur Piano". Now the "Lawless" star has confirmed exclusively to MTV that he will indeed star in Lars von Trier's upcoming drama "The Nymphomaniac."
For his once-rumored new role, Labeouf says he's prepared to do anything, and judging by the title of the movie, we've got a few guesses as to what it might entail.
"There's a disclaimer at the top of the script that basically says 'We're doing it for real.' Everything that is illegal, we'll shoot in blurred images, but other than that, everything is happening," Labeouf tells MTV's Josh Horowitz.

Sigur Rós' new video for “Fjögur Píanó” stars Shia Labeouf like you've never seen him before: naked. Looks like Louis Stevens is all grown up.
This is the third film in the Sigur Rós Mystery Film Experiment series, which has seen a dozen filmmakers receiving the same budget to create whatever comes into their heads while listening to songs from the the Icelandic band's new album, Valtari.
Directed by Alma Har’el, “Fjögur Píanó" -- the last track on the album -- stars a bearded Shia Labeouf and according to the official press release, tells the story of a "man and woman locked in a never-ending cycle of addiction and desire.” In the very Nsfw video, Labeouf goes full-frontal ... for some reason.
“Fjögur Píanó” is Har’el’s first project since winning “Best Documentary Feature” at last year’s Tribeca Film Festival for her film debut "Bombay Beach."

Shia Labeouf, my, how you have grown. It's hard to imagine that 10 years ago, Labeouf was a fixture on the Disney Channel. Today, the hunky thesp turns 26 and is living proof that successful child actors can become successful adult stars. Since his Disney debut in 2000 as Louis Stevens on the hit TV show, Even Stevens, Labeouf has "transformed" himself from child star to sexy leading man. When "Princess Protection Program" hits the TV screen next month, viewers may want to keep an eye on Shia Labeouf's cameo. It has been informed by one of the TV movie's stars that the "Transformers" actor will pay a visit in one of the scenes although it was not specified which.
