- Josh Stafford was born on March 26, 1976 in Shawville, Québec, Canada. He is a writer, known for Mythic Hero (2000), 07:07:13 (2005) and Gwen (2004).
- The first movie that Josh ever went to was a drive-in screening of Star Wars. Soon after followed by the first movie at a theatre, the Empire Strikes Back. Josh graduated from Canterbury High School's visual arts program in Ottawa-Ontario in '94. Then moved west to attend the Vancouver Film School where the worked on four student films.
Josh reads a lot of comic books, watches a lot of movies, and hopes to one day have a character from one of his films appear on a lunch box and / or in action figure form.
The highlights of his life include meeting Bruce Campbell, having a letter read on an episode of the Late Show with David Letterman, and being killed in a Star Wars comic book by Jango Fett. - Produced and directed a pair of short films for the 2004 and 2005 Digi60 Digital Video Festival: Thursday (2004) and '07-07-13' (2005).
- Organized and contributed a film (titled 'Checklist') to the first annual Killer63 film festival in 2006 (an independent short horror film collective). A group of Canadian filmmakers each made a short film under the same genre (horror) and in the same time-frame (nine weeks). The challenge began in October and all the eight films had their premiere on December 30th 2006 at the Mayfair Theatre in Ottawa. Participants included: Jeremy Kennedy , Brian Singleton , Brett Kelly , Jodi Pittman , Marc Adornato , Josh Grace and Ralph Gethings.
