With Supernatural beginning the end of its 15-season run this October, longtime fans of the show (and the stars as well) are being hit hard in every one of their feels. We’re getting ready to say goodbye to characters we’ve been following for almost half our lives, but in the final season, we’ll get to see them one last time. Well, maybe not all of them.
John Winchester, played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan, is apparently not yet confirmed for the show’s last run. At the annual Television Critics Association’s press tour, Ep Eugenie Ross-Leming had some things to say about Dean and Sam’s dad returning one last time, and apparently, he implied that we probably won’t be seeing Jdm.
Ross-Leming indicates it's not likely we'll see Jeffrey Dean Morgan again in the final season, feeling his last appearance worked really well to wrap things up for him.

‘Supernatural’ Cast, Producers Not Writing Off Future Incarnations Of Long-Running CW Fantasy Series
The CW has become a network of “-verses”: The Arrowverse, the Archieverse, and the DC Comicsverse. Many of whose shows are also sub-verses of Greg Berlanti-verse.
However, despite previous efforts, CW president Mark Pedowitz said at this morning’s TCA executive session that its long-running series Supernatural, entering its 15th and final season, will never have a “-verse” of its own.
The executive said no spinoffs are planned for the fan-favorite, dark fantasy series created by Eric Kripke, following the adventures of brothers Sam and Dean Winchester portrayed by Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. Spinoffs attempts have failed to be developed into series.
Supernatural panelists confirmed there was nothing specific in the works for a spinoff. However, they seemed less definite than Pedowitz that the show or one of its elements might find a new incarnation in the future.

There are a lot of goodbyes this Comic-Con, and while Arrow took the stage yesterday, today the cast and crew of Supernatural took the stage one last time.
Series stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, and Alexander Calvert and executive producers Robert Singer, Andrew Dabb, Eugenie Ross-Leming, Brad Buckner, and Robert Berens were all on hand to recall the years and tease the final season.
With a series that has been on the air as long as Supernatural, you get a lot of memories.
The sizzle reel to that effect clocks in at over ten minutes.
Veronica Mars Finale: Are You Cussing Kidding Me?!?
Seeing all 14 years flash before their eyes, guests got to enjoy Blue Oyster Cult’s “Don’t Fear the Reaper” and “Bad Moon Rising” as well as Kansas’ iconic “Carry on Wayward Son”.

On Sunday morning, the cast and creators of Supernatural took the dais in Hall H during Comic-Con — for the last time. Series stars Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, and Alexander Calvert and executive producers Robert Singer, Andrew Dabb, Eugenie Ross-Leming, Brad Buckner, and Robert Berens stepped on to the stage in what will be a long goodbye as they will end the CW series after the upcoming 15th season.
An extensive reel of Supernatural‘s greatest hits (it was over 10 minutes long!) that included footage from all 14 seasons set to the tunes of Blue Oyster Cult’s “Don’t Fear the Reaper” and “Bad Moon Rising” as well as Kansas’ iconic “Carry on Wayward Son”. One lucky “Supernatural” fan walked away from the long-running CW show’s final panel at San Diego Comic-Con with an exact replica of Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean’s (Jensen Ackles) famous ’67 Chevy Impala. And Padalecki and Ackles picked the winner themselves.
Ok, the winner didn’t drive off with it, but studio Warner Bros. Television is going to get it to them once they return home from the fan convention.
Following a short clip showing the car being restored with care by a team of experts (see above), it was announced that the copy of the beloved Impala would become the property of someone in Hall H. Ackles and Padalecki pulled the winning raffle ticket (No. 3) and congratulated the winner, Laura Dittrich of Grants Pass, Oregon.

Now that nearly every show that I enjoy has aired their respective season finales, I must admit that Supernatural‘s had the most profound effect on me. Boasting one of the series’ best cliffhangers to date, “Moriah” saw God/Chuck revealed as the ultimate villain, as he’s quite literally bringing about the apocalypse. Sam and Dean Winchester may have averted such things before, sure, but the sh!t’s never hit the fan to this degree.
After traveling on “The Road So Far” for 14 seasons, some folks may wonder how the Winchesters’ final stop may differ from other offerings. If what was stated above doesn’t convince you, know that every soul has been freed from Hell and the dead now walk the Earth. And if that weren’t enough, every threat the boys had previously put down is now back in play – even those dating as far back...

After 15 seasons, Supernatural, The CW’s longest-running scripted series will come to an end in the 2019-2020 broadcast season. As fans settle in with that reality, Deadline is taking a look back through the years with a photo gallery of some key moments.
Created by Eric Kripke, Supernatural stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles as Sam and Dean Winchester who follow their father’s footsteps as “hunters,” fighting evil supernatural beings of many kinds including monsters, demons and gods that roam the Earth, as they travel across the country in their 1967 Chevy Impala. Misha Collins, Mark Pellegrino and Alexander Calvert also star.
It is the last remaining series from the CW’s predecessors, the WB and Upn, having originated on the WB, launching in 2005. Supernatural will end its run after 327 episodes, ranking as the longest-running sci-fi/genre series in the history of American broadcast television.

Supernatural, the longest-running sci-fi series on primetime TV, took its traditional Sunday spot in Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con.
Moderated by Richard Speight Jr. and Rob Benedict (both appear on the show), the panel included the Winchesters Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki as well as Misha Collins and Comic-Con first-timer Alexander Calvert. Executive producers and co-showrunners Robert Singer and Andrew Dabb also took the dais alongside executive producing/writing team Eugenie Ross-Leming and Brad Buckner to talk about the upcoming 14th season without revealing any spoilers.
Season 14 also marks a huge milestone for the series. The Winchesters and company will hit the 300 mark when Episode 13 of the season hits. Singer and Dabb might not have everything planned out, but they did give fans some minor details.
“Andrew has a plan — he hasn’t let me in on it,” said Singer. “I am directing it … but I’d like to know what I am directing!

Though I haven’t actually watched it in about 20 years, I’ve got fond memories of 90’s TV show Lois & Clark: The New Adventures of Superman.
Starring Dean Cain as Clark Kent/Superman and Teri Hatcher as Lois Lane, the show ran for four season from 1993-1997 and provided fans with a much-needed dose of live-action Superman in the absence of any big screen outings in the 90s. Enjoying decent ratings throughout its run, it was only cancelled when Teri Hatcher became pregnant and was unable to film a fifth season – leaving the show ending on a cliffhanger (Superman and Lois are married, and a mysterious child has just appeared).
Now, it’s sounding like there’s a tiny chance that it might return in some form. Hatcher was speaking with Entertainment Weekly recently about Lois & Clark and teased the following:

[Editor’s Note: The following contains spoilers from the Season 13 premiere, titled “Lost and Found.”]
For “Supernatural,” 13 is a lucky number considering The CW series has lasted this long. After watching the premiere of the 13th season, its new, more poignant approach to the Winchesters’ story could be exactly what the show needs to keep on going for another 13 more years.
The premiere picks up with Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) still reeling from the loss of so many: their mother Mary (Samantha Smith) whom Lucifer (Pellegrino) took care of, Castiel (Misha Collins), and Crowley (Mark Sheppard). Even for a show with a high body count, those deaths have to sting and make a difference to our heroes. And they do. Despite what viewers know – that Castiel will be back in some form, and that Mary is in the alternate world with Lucifer – there’s a mournful yet resigned tone to the episode. This is the reality when you hunt monsters, and maybe too,...

"I grew up watching it, so to hear that animated you is going to be on the same screen with the Mystery Machine [is] super cool."

Had you witnessed last night’s episode of Supernatural, you saw the Winchester-British Men of Letters alliance finally start to implode, something we’ve been waiting to see for some time now. But, with the season finale less than two weeks away, it’s expected that major developments occur.
With that, it doesn’t come as too much of a surprise that the trailers become increasingly more vague, even when they’re of the extended variety like the one embedded at the top of this article. Still, we can glean from the footage provided that both the unfolding situations involving the British Men of Letters and Lucifer’s baby will play key roles, unless, of course, the scene hinting at the latter was taken from a future episode.
That aside, it’ll be interesting to watch Mary Winchester finally get her hands on Toni Bevell, whom she still owes payback for brutally torturing her son,...

After returning from a three week hiatus, Supernatural didn’t waste any time in forcing us to be on the edge our seats, now did it? Continuing to show how this world of hunting exists not in black and white, but in shades of grey, makes for some extremely compelling television, especially when you put British Man of Letters Mick Davies into the mix in order to illustrate such a point.
In last night’s episode, “Ladies Drink Free,” the producers took this to a new level by having Davies get his hands dirty in one of the most morally ambiguous cases to be presented this year. And, as the latest promo video illustrates, next week’s offering will be no less of a white knuckle ride.
From what we can tell, Mick will have to choose between following orders or continuing to forge his working relationship with Sam and Dean.

With Lucifer out of the cage and doing some vessel hopping, things have certainly gotten interesting this season on Supernatural. And after having one last hurrah in the body of rock star Vince Vincente this past week in “Rock Never Dies,” it seems he will truly go onward and upward in the midseason finale, “Lotus.”
Following the premiere, we suspected that Lucifer would engage in a power struggle for control of Hell with Crowley, but now we know that he has no plan, which may make him even more dangerous. In fact, he really only intends on smashing “as many of daddy’s toys” as possible.

Now that it is officially the longest running U.S fantasy television series, Supernatural will surely garner even more attention with its upcoming twelfth season. Having ended on a significant cliffhanger last year, the show that follows brothers Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) as they hunt supernatural entities and creatures will return as even more of a family affair, with mother Mary reappearing.
For more on what to expect from the premiere, you can consult the official synopsis below:
“Mama Winchester Is Back — Dean (Jensen Ackles) is overwhelmed as he comes face to face with his mom, Mary Winchester (guest star Samantha Smith). Meanwhile, Sam (Jared Padalecki) is fighting for his life after Toni, from the Woman of Letters, shot him. Phil Sgriccia directed the episode written by Andrew Dabb (#1201).”

I am sure that many fans will agree with me in saying that last night’s offering of Supernatural, “Don’t Call Me Shurley,” was not only something that we have waited years to see, but it also may have been the finest episode of this season (so far). Seeing Rob Benedict return as Chuck Shurley/God in an outing that spent a great deal of time examining his character was something that I was not sure I would ever see. The fact that Metatron of all people inspired him to get back in the game made for quite an emotional viewing experience.
Despite all that transpired last night, it looks as though next week’s episode, titled “All in the Family,” may surpass it because now we will get to see Chuck have a long overdue conversation with Sam and Dean Winchester. Something tells me that if these three...

Although Supernatural is still going strong and has been renewed for a twelfth season, that hasn’t stopped people from speculating what the eventual series finale will entail. In fact, the folks at Entertainment Weekly asked stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles about that very subject in a recent interview.
At first, Ackles thinks of how his younger self may have responded:
“If you’d asked me season 1, I would’ve thought that it would’ve been the apocalypse. But then again, you can’t end the TV show with the worst thing happening. As we’ve evolved, I think that there’s different roads that the show could certainly go down that would be interesting. I think we’ve taken some really good turns.”
As fans of the show remember, the apocalypse was successfully averted in Season Five’s finale, “Swan Song,” which was kind of series creator Eric Kripke’s planned ending.

The first promo video for the mid-season finale of Supernatural has been released and no doubt has devoted fans everywhere talking. One viewing of said video gives the impression that it will have the intensity of a season finale and perhaps be just as shocking as one. It features a burning bush, a fully matured Amara, and a returning Lucifer, whom the show has been strongly hinting at as of late.
Speaking of Amara, you can look forward to seeing Emily Swallow resuming the role. We did see her in the season premiere and in some flashbacks since, but Amara has largely been played by a variety of child actresses as she has been rapidly aging due to a steady diet of what could literally be called “soul food.” It’s likely that Swallow will be the Amara we see for the remainder of the season and now we will...

9.21 King Of The Damned
I admit: I didn’t actually think this episode would be any good.
King of the Damned was penned by Brad Buckner and Eugenie Ross-Leming, whose episodes (Taxi Driver, Holy Terror, and I'm No Angel) have historically been far from my favourites. But, I’m happy to report that, if I hadn’t known this episode was written by what the fandom often refers to as the “terrible duo,” I wouldn’t have been able to tell, which is really the highest compliment I can pay.
The episode gets off to a great start as an angel plays the role of the uncool kid desperately trying to fit in with the cool angel kids – going so far as to brag about being the trusted right hand man of his idol,...

“Blade Runners”

Original Airdate: 18 March 2014
In This Episode…
Dean has been trying to get Crowley on the phone for weeks, with no luck, and he is getting damned frustrated. Crowley has been living the rockstar life, holed up in the suite of a fancy hotel with a sexy young minion named Lola, who responds to his every whim (which, it turns out, is mostly sex, pizza and human blood). Maybe it is more accurate to say that Crowley is living the rockstar junkie life - he is a blood addict, shooting it up like heroin. (Exactly like heroin - The Velvet Underground’s “Heroin” plays in the background.) Anyway, his “donor” is almost empty so he sends Lola out for more. Instead, she stops to pass off intel to Abaddon. She knows nothing except the Winchesters keep leaving...

(Exactly like heroin - The Velvet Underground’s “Heroin” plays in the background.) Anyway, his “donor” is almost empty so he sends Lola out for more. Instead, she stops to pass off intel to Abaddon. She knows nothing except the Winchesters keep leaving...

Supernatural Episode 909
“Holy Terror”
Written By: Eugenie Ross-Leming & Brad Buckner
Directed By: Thomas J. Wright
Original Airdate: 3 December 2013
In This Episode...
Sam and Dean show up to a massacre at a biker bar and discover Castiel there, posing as an FBI agent like the boys taught him. Despite the fact that he is wanted by every angel in existence, Cas still feels like it is his duty to help with this whole angel war. There are essentially two sides to the angel war. Those who side with Bartholomew, and a new faction that follows an angel named Malachi. It is a highly contentious rivalry, with all angels being forced to pick a side. Those who don’t are tortured until they declare their allegiance.
Dean is having a harder and harder time keeping the truth from Sam. He spills on Ezekiel to Castiel as explanation for why Cas has to stay away.

Supernatural, Season 9, Episode 9: “Holy Terror”
Written by Eugenie Ross-Leming and Brad Buckner
Directed by Thomas J. Wright
Airs Tuesdays at 9pm (Et) on The CW
Season 9 of Supernatural, to date, has shown that being shut out of Heaven had brought a new level of ruthlessness out in all Angels, perhaps best characterised by Bartholomew’s nonchalant killing of Buddy Boyle’s daughter. With the factions battling for control of Heaven following Castiel’s abrupt departure, it was inevitable that the fall would only temporarily pause the fighting. Combined with the new brand of ruthlessness and a callous disregard for human lives, this week’s episode explores the toll this battle is taking, and the major players, in a powerful episode that sees the re-entry of key players into the fold, with extreme consequences.
The larger look into the Angels’ various factions this week is a fascinating one.
