María Luisa Rodríguez was born in Mexico. After her birth, her mother
moved back to Barcelona. María Luisa Rodríguez worked as an actress
from an early age, starting to work as a professional at the age of 14.
She was a popular comedic actress in Barcelona and Madrid. She
participated in the silent movie 'La Tía Ramona,' with her then
boyfriend, boxer 'Tomás Cola.' She married Catalan journalist and
writer 'Francisco Madrid.' As a result of the Spanish Civil War, she
emigrated to Argentina with her husband. She continued to work as an
actress in South America. She died in Buenos Aires, Argentina, 2001.
