Sarah Paulson and Holland Taylor have been dating for about eight years, but they’re not looking to work together onscreen anytime soon.
“I can’t imagine,” Taylor told Variety on the Emmys red carpet. “I don’t like seeing couples doing things because I’m always aware of the coupledom.”
Holland did reveal that they have been pitched “one or two” projects and admitted that she can see them on stage together in “The Chalk Garden,” a 1955 play by Enid Bagnold about a murder mystery involving a grandmother, her granddaughter and a governess. The script also got a 1964 film adaptation starring Deborah Kerr and Hayley Mills. “It’s a very rarified kind of play,” Taylor said.
The couple began dating in December 2015 after first meeting at a party a decade earlier. Paulson celebrated Taylor turning 81 on Sunday with a post on Instagram. “Happy Birthday to my one and only love,...

After Nicole Beharie joined the third season of Apple TV+’s The Morning Show, as new anchor Chris Hunter, a pivotal moment in her quick preparation process happened while speaking to CBS Mornings’ Gayle King. Beharie says the veteran newscaster “told me a story about a moment when she felt like the world was on her shoulders and where her identity as a Black woman in this space was heavier than she would like it to be.”
After Beharie revealed some of her trepidation around being a tonal fit for the ensemble and stepping into what she describes as a “well-oiled machine” of a show, King — pointing to her experiences as an anchor — responded, “We don’t have time for that. You are the answer to many people’s dreams, and basically, no one’s really, truly interested in your plight, in a way.”

Exclusive: Amidst critical raves for her work on The Morning Show Season 3, actress Nicole Beharie has signed with Sugar23 for management.
One of the newest additions to Apple TV+’s Emmy-winning drama, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the cutthroat world of morning news at a time of dramatic cultural change, Beharie joined in September as Chris Hunter, an Olympic gold medalist who takes on the morning anchor position of Reese Witherspoon’s Bradley Jackson at the network Uba. When racist emails at her expense emerge, on the part of Uba board member Cybil Richards (Holland Taylor), Christina is put in the uncomfortable position of interviewing the offender on-air about the messages, and how they reflect on the organization.
Beharie joined Jon Hamm, Stephen Fry, and Tig Notaro in coming aboard the series, which was renewed for a fourth season before its third debuted.

The latest episode of “The Morning Show” packed a topical conversation about systemic racism in media into one of its classic showdowns. In the aftermath of a companywide data leak, the Apple TV+ drama saw Uba Board President Cybil Richards (Holland Taylor) and “Morning Show” anchor Christina Hunter (Nicole Beharie) go on air together to discuss disparaging comments the media executive made during the former Olympian’s hiring process in a now-public email.
Executive producer Mimi Leder — who directed the first two episodes, the sixth and the finale of the most recent season — said Season 3 examines the layers of racism, ageism and politics impacting the legacy media business through Uba’s struggles. These pressure points reach a peak when the value of diversity in the Uba newsroom and network come into question following the cyber attack into the system in Episode 3.
“We introduced a new character, Chris Hunter. She’s an Olympic gold medalist.

It’s funny that after the ugliness of Uba’s history got out, Cory wanted to refocus on doing the news, not being the news.
On The Morning Show Season 3 Episode 1, being the news was right up there on his list, as they had an entire media blitz surrounding sending someone into orbit on a formerly untested manned rocket.
As they say, be careful what you wish for because you might just get it.
What happened on the aptly titled "White Noise" was different, though.
After Uba’s data was breached and the studio was effectively held hostage for a short time, revelations began circling amongst the staff. It was only a matter of time before it got outside of Uba.
These weren’t just any accusations, either. It was highly probable, if perhaps not provable by legal definitions, that decisions were made based on race, and the results weren’t pretty.

That's a lot to digest, and much like The Morning Show Season 2 came out swinging after Covid by including it in their story, The Morning Show Season 3 is taking on some of the biggest stories of the day, even if, for now, they're only touched upon lightly.
A lot has changed in the wake of Covid for Uba. After Alex Levy shared her bout with Covid with a worldwide audience, her popularity has risen to new heights.
While she's basking in parting ways with the berth that made her famous and allowing herself a little more sleep in the morning, not everyone is pleased with her ascension to almost god-like status at the network and with the audience.
Cory needed the assist with his push for Uba+, and while it's not an outright success, it wouldn't have been a contender without Alex.
Bradley Jackson, too, has moved on from Tms...

“It is no secret that you are extraordinary, Wendy. But I think you can be even better,” Dr. Mayer says in the clip. “I would like to help you with that.”
“Thank you, but I’m not in the market for a performance coach,” Wendy fires back.
“I was suggesting therapy. Isn’t that why you’re here?” Dr. Mayer asks.

Production on “The Morning Show’s” second season was interrupted by the Covid-19 pandemic in March 2020, and the show, which had received a two-season order before Apple’s streaming service launched, resumed filming in October of last year. The Season 1 finale aired on Dec. 20, 2019.

“The Morning Show” will return for Season 2 on Sept. 17 on Apple TV Plus, and when it does, things are going to look very different at the fictional morning news program.
