- Bandleader/banjoist.
- Inducted into the National Four-String Banjo Hall of Fame, 1999.
- Reser published several instruction manuals on playing banjo, ukulele and guitar.
- Got his big break in 1925, when he found a sponsor in the Clicquot Club (a soda pop brand) NBC radio show. He henceforth gained much nationwide exposure broadcasting under the banner "Harry Reser & His Clicquot Club Eskimos".
- Reser led a variety of different studio orchestras, recording prolifically throughout the 1920's and 30's, using a multitude of different band names (in excess of fifty!) with such tags as 'The Jazz Pilots', 'The Parlophone Syncopators', 'The Ten Freshmen', 'The Volunteer Firemen', 'The Plantation Players', 'The Red Hotters', 'The Park Lane Orchestra' and 'The Roving Romeos'.
