Feeny! Feeny! Fee-hee-hee-hee-ny! William Daniels, who played one of the most beloved teachers in all of media, shared a new photo with some of his old Boy Meets World students, calling them some of his favorites.
In his Instagram post – and how amazing is it that William Daniels is active on social media at the age of 97? – the actor shared a pic in which he, Danielle Fishel (Topanga Lawrence), Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter) and Will Friedle (Eric Matthews) reunited, along with the caption, “Just a little reunion with my favorite students!!” He also had a photo with just Fishel, showing an even more special bond between the two. Notably absent, of course, was Ben Savage (Cory Matthews), who has distanced himself from Boy Meets World, showing a disinterest in reunions or media appearances.

Boy is about to meet Doc, as it has been announced that a documentary on the popular series Boy Meets World could be headed our way. But before you get too excited about revisiting Cory, Topanga and Shawn, those behind the project aren’t even sure if and when it will come out.
Appearing at 90s Con, Pod Meets World hosts Danielle Fishel (Topanga Lawrence), Will Friedle (Eric Matthews) and Rider Strong (Shawn Hunter) unveiled that a crew is indeed working on a documentary about Boy Meets World, compiling what little behind-the-scenes footage there is and interviewing fans. As Fishel put it, “We aren’t even sure if it’s ever gonna go anywhere or not. The ’90s were a hell of a time to be a teen watching television. Steve Urkle terrorized the Winslows with his hormones and buffoonery, Zack Morris, an unchecked sociopath, ruled the halls of Bayside High, and the cast of Boy Meets World dabbled in matters of the heart, disturbing societal norms, and the multitude of ways to conduct a proper Feeny call. Unafraid to tackle harsh topics like child abuse, abandonment, and racism, people identified with the Boy Meets World cast, teens and parents included.
Initially airing on ABC from 1993 to 2000, Boy Meets World starred Ben Savage as Cory Matthews, Will Friedle as Eric Matthews, Rider Strong as Shawn Hunter, Danielle Fishel as Topanga Lawrence, William Daniels as the wisened George Feeny, Trina McGee-Davis as Angela Moore, William Russ as Alan Matthews, Betsy Randle as Amy Matthews, with Lily Nicksay and Lindsay Ridgeway as Morgan Matthews.

The group will be onsite for at the Tampa Convention Center on Saturday, September 16, and and Sunday, September 17 for autographs, selfies, professional photos ops and the full reunion panel.

Will Friedle isn’t the type of person to answer his phone while at a lunch — especially at a work lunch. In fact, he may have better manners than anyone I’ve ever met. But this was an exception.
We’d been sitting for about 10 minutes — Friedle, Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong and me — gathered around a corner booth in a Studio City restaurant.
“Oh, my gosh, I’m sorry, I have to take this,” he says after pulling his iPhone out of his pocket. He quickly turns it around, showing the group the names that are scrolling across the screen: “Bill & Bonnie Daniels.”
It was just a check in from Mr. (and Mrs.) Feeny and no, it wasn’t a planned call. It was simply an example of how most (more on that later) of this cast is actually still close.

If you were a teen in the 1990s, chances are you watched Boy Meets World. Initially airing on ABC, Boy Meets World starred Ben Savage, Danielle Fishel, Rider Strong, Will Friedle, William Daniels, William Russ, Betsy Randle, and Trina McGee. In the comedic drama, a group of kids learns about the pitfalls of growing up, accepting change, and paying attention to life’s many lessons.
Watched by scores of teens, Boy Meets World often tackled cultural issues, including interracial relationships, child abuse, sexual harassment, underage drug use, and abandonment. While the show’s impact on its target audience is undeniable, there was more going on behind the scenes than you would think. Everything from racial tension to drastic character changes caused problems on the set, leading to problems fans wouldn’t be aware of until after the show left the network.

"The only part of you that will endure is your art – if you're good enough..." 1844 Ent. has revealed the official trailer for an indie psychological thriller called Painter, marking the feature directorial debut of filmmaker Cory Wexler Grant. The film stars Betsy Randle as Joanne Marco, a wealthy art collector and benefactor. She discovers a young, unknown painter named Aldis Browne, and becomes obsessed with his success. When his first solo show is deemed a critical failure, he flees. But her obsession develops into a psychosexual relationship fueled by jealousy and delusion, and she lures him back. Co-starring Eric Ladin as Aldis, along with Casey Deidrick and Susan Anton. The cinematography in this is very sneaky, setting up additional eeriness in the composition. Along with the extra creepy, bombastic score in this trailer damn. Here's the first official trailer (+ poster) for Cory Wexler Grant's Painter, direct from 1844's YouTube: Joanne Marco,...

I’m on the record as being ambivalent about Girl Meets World, Disney Channel’s highly enthusiastically ridiculously anticipated sequel/spinoff to millennial favorite Boy Meets World. (I also take full responsibility for helping to stoke that fervor for the past year and a half.) On one hand: Nostalgia! On the other: This is clearly a series meant for viewers born after the original show ended in the year 2000, and if you’re not one of them, watching it will make you feel old. The show’s bright colors, broad jokes, and earnest lessons all scream “modern-day Disney,” and it...

Cory Matthews get a whole family reunion in Girl Meets World. Uriah Shelton is set to play Cory’s younger brother Joshua, who came into the series late. Now he is will be recurring all through out the first season, along with William Russ and Betsy Randle who will reprise their roles as Ben Savage’s on-screen parents. Rider Strong, Will Friedie and William Daniels are also set to return. The series will debut on June 27th.
This is huge news, especially as a fan of Boy Meets World. It sounds like we all can relax and enjoy their lives again, only with a new focus on a new generation. Girl Meets World, the Disney spinoff of 90s hit Boy Meets World, released its first trailer this week, which shows a grown up Cory and Topanga.
Girl Meets World Trailer
In Girl Meets World, the childhood sweethearts-turned-married couple of Cory and (Ben Savage) Topanga (Danielle Fishel) are now parents to a tween daughter named Riley (Rowan Blanchard). While Blanchard is the star of the show, much focus is being placed on Savage and Fishel’s return to their old roles and fictional relationship.
In the trailer, as Riley tries to sneak out with her Shawn Hunter-like best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter), Cory is there to put a good-humored stop to it.
"Here's what I'm thinking," he tells his daughter after catching her trying to crawl out her window. "If it was your world, Maya would have you on the subway already thinking you put something over on me."
