Released in some countries under the title Hounded, a “Most Dangerous Game“-type action thriller from director Tommy Boulding is now set to reach theatres in the U.S. as Hunted tomorrow, October 21st. In anticipation of the film’s U.S. release, we’ve gotten our hands on an Exclusive clip from the movie that shows how its “humans hunting humans” scenario gets started. Check it out in the embed above!
Hunted will also be receiving a VOD release on October 25th.
Scripted by Ray Bogdanovich and Dean Lines, Hunted follows a gang of young thieves in the midst of a home robbery who get more than they bargained for when they are captured by the property owners. Attacked and bound by their captors, they are spirited away from the home and released in the middle of nowhere tracked, hunted and to be killed like animals. A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away, the Order of the Jedi served as the guardians of the universe. Through the power of the force, they stood vigilant against the destructive power of the Dark Side. Obviously this is a work of fiction, direct from the mind of George Lucas and brought to life in the Star Wars franchise. In the real world, however, Jedi are very real. Founded in the UK in 2007, the Church of Jediism (Coj) serves as a meeting place for individuals with a belief in the force.
One has to wonder however; without the assistance of lightsabers, X-Wing Fighters and space stations the size of small moons, how do you become a Jedi in modern society? For more information, I spoke to Paul Cutler: a former soldier turned bus driver, who just so happens to be a high ranking member of the Coj.

The whopping four days I spent in St. Louis a few years ago earned the city a near and dear place in my heart and it was sweet to see America's Got Talent give the town a little love this season. The St. Louis auditions were a big improvement over the mostly cringe-inducing Tampa acts. Among those heading off to Vegas are Spencer Horsman, "the world's youngest escape artist" who enlisted the aid of Nick Cannon to tie him up tight in a straight jacket before he dangled between a gnarly looking contraption that I've decided to call The Jaws of Death. It was a refreshingly intense act with all the trappings of a potentially thrilling stage show -- death-defying stunts and a dashing daredevil performer.

Alec Mapa and friends on the Allure of the Seas
Alec Mapa, everyone's favorite Gaysian sweetheart, is a bundle of contractions. His standup is about as raunchy and personal as you can imagine, with graphic jokes about his sex life and even bathroom habits. But he's also a great dad. As we met aboard the Atlantis Events cruise to talk about fatherhood, comedy, and Ugly Betty, he showed up holding a MacBook at an awkward angle, trying to use the ship's flaky WiFi to video conference with his son about his behavior at school.
AfterElton: We are on the Allure, and we are talking to Alec Mapa, who was kind enough to get out of bed early to talk to us.
Alec Mapa: I know – it's miraculous.
Ae: We're huge fans at AfterElton. We haven't seen a lot of you on TV since Ugly Betty, but that was such an iconic role.
