Jesse Pomeroy
- Sound Department
- Producer
- Director
Jesse Pomeroy decided at age six to become a filmmaker and has never
thought twice about the decision. By fourteen he had written and
directed five short films. In high school he worked behind and in front
of the camera for his school's local news program. After a brief stint
in Filmic Writing at the University of Southern California, Jesse took
a Bachelor of Fine Art in Film from the Art Center College of Design
where his thesis short film, "Candlelight", was a Finalist at the
Worldfest Charleston. After graduation, Jesse moonlighted as a guitar
technician touring the world with the likes of Stevie Wonder, Natalie
Cole and Martin Page before returning to Hollywood where he spent many
years in post-production as a sound supervisor. During this time, he
wrote and directed "The Fire Inside" which was an Official Selection at
the Fort Worth Film Festival. Jesse co-founded Mission Post to continue
in post-production while getting his debut feature "World Full of
Nothing" off the ground. "World Full of Nothing," produced by Jesse's
Genre Pictures imprint, was an Official Selection at the Naperville
Independent Film Festival and Jesse was honored with the award for Best
Feature Director. While developing two new feature projects and posting
the Vegan themed "Going Veg with the Plant-Based Dietitian", a how-to
guide to better health through better food, Jesse is overseeing the
distribution of "World Full of Nothing" through his newly minted
Hillrose Street label.
