How do you pronounce Sian?

When Ms. Phillips was playing Dietrich on Broadway I specifically asked the person selling the tickets how they pronounced her name (not a reliable source, I should say). This lady said everyone called her Sean (as in Sean Connery).
Does anyone know for sure?
