- From factual area history and the interweaving of the old "Ghost Town Gunfights" preformed at the popular theme park in Maggie valley N.C. the story "Ghost Town" was created by Dean Teaster and DJ Perry on a 10 hour drive from Michigan to N.C. From there, DJ wrote the screenplay in 11 days with one major rewrite to tone down the R-rated action to a PG-13 for cross promotion with the re-opening of "Ghost Town in the Sky" western theme park in 2007. Western author Bob Terrell will write the novel based on the screenplay. Mr. Terrell also helped make suggestions on language for the area.
