Thinking about attending the Triple Threat Film Fest in Chicago this March, which is showing Albert Pyun's Road to Hell along with director's cuts of his earlier films Nemesis and Cyborg? Then check out this promo he cut together for the event!
It's lengthy but covers all three films and reminds us why the older ones are still cult favorites to this day. Along with the video, Pyun sent over a new "Triple Threat" banner ad by graphic artist Jerry Scullion, who also did the Cyborg case art.
The "Triple Threat" event is taking place at the Patio Theatre (click here for tickets). There's also a "Triple Threat" Facebook event page so be sure to RSVP there if you plan to attend.

Star Trek is pretty much unique when it comes to fan-made movies and episodes that pay homage to the sci-fi series. Left alone by CBS and Paramount (as long as they don’t try to make money from them) fans build elaborate sets and even bring in recognisable Star Trek actors to produce work that is anything but amateur.
The latest hoping to go into production is Star Trek: Renegades, co-written by Jack Trevino and staring Walter Koenig, Tim Russ, Garrett Wang and Robert Picardo among others, names that will be familiar to any Star Trek fan.
Jack Trevino is no stranger to the world of Star Trek. Having written the hugely popular fan-made miniseries Star Trek: Of Gods And Men which stared a number of Star Trek actors including Walter Koenig and Nichelle Nichols. The series was awarded ‘Best Web Production 2008’ by SyFy Portal which is now Alpha Airlock.

Just days ago we introduced you to the first beyond red band trailer for Tim Sullivan's 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams. Turns out it was the wrong version. Pull down your shades and turn up your sound!

Yup, this was meant to be the "trailer the studio didn't want you to see" with all the Gore, Nudity and Politically Incorrect Humor that this film is getting both applauded and crucified for! At the bottom of the note I attached a link- and guess what?

So you thought you saw the "Beyond Red Band" trailer for 2001 Maniacs: Field Of Screams, Tim Sullivan's sequel arriving on DVD July 20 from First Look Studios, but the funny thing is... you didn't. Apparently, the wrong file was sent out that displayed a rough cut of the beyond red band trailer, along with a clip that you weren't supposed to see featuring star Lin Shaye (if missed out, watch it now). Things have been corrected and now we're proud to present you with the Real "Beyond Red Band Trailer" that's surely Nsfw! Bill Moseley, Lin Shaye, Nivek Ogre, Courtney Peldon, Ashley Peldon, Adam Robitel, Ahmed Best, Trevor Wright, Andrea Leon, Ryan Fleming, Dylan Edrington, Christa Campbell, Amy Baniecki, Tony Todd all star.

Any cinephile out there knows the difference between a green and a red band trailer, but for the sake of clarity -- green band trailers feature nothing objectionable, and red band trailers give us a taste of the good stuff that we want like gore and maybe a glimpse or two at, shall we say, some less than family-friendly situations. But what if we went beyond red band?
That's exactly what director Tim Sullivan has done with this special sneak peek at his latest film, 2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams, along with the following message:

2001 Maniacs: Field of Screams sees director Tim Sullivan returning for yet another brilliant love-letter to Herschell Gordon Lewis’ original gore films of the 60’s, the film delivers on all counts, building on the original 2001 Maniacs to create what is essentially a horror comic brought to life on the screen.

Walter Koenig doesn't shy away from a challenge. Writing scripts is a tough gig. Getting movies produced, especially indie fare; not so easy. Writer-producer Koenig, however, waged -- and won -- a near-decade-long battle to bring InAlienable (2010) to the screen.
