Last week it was reported that Demi Lovato was going into anger management and rehab for her emotional control issues, after she provoked a very one-sided fight with a dancer that she imagined a conflict with. Lovato’s people were quick to point out that it was simply stress that had led to the breakdown and rage problems, but now it turns out that other sources have some additional information.
College student Brian Payne has allegedly been out partying with the teen pop princess, and he says that she was drinking hard liquor straight from the bottle, and snorting cocaine like there was no tomorrow. Supposedly there’s actually a video of Lovato snorting said coke, and as soon as that hits the internet (if it hasn’t already), the “she’s not a druggie” claims will pretty much be finished.

Daddies, don't let your daughters grow up to be Disney stars. New accounts of pop singer and "Sonny with a Chance" star Demi Lovato's antics before checking into rehab for what her publicists have called "emotional and physical" issues are surfacing. Natch.
While accounts of her physical altercation with a dancer on the Jonas Brothers tour tells part of the story of her downward spiral, Texas college student Brian Payne tells Life & Style magazine that she was all up in the white powder at a party in North Richland Hills, Texas.
"She was doing line after line like a pro -- and she was 17 at the time," Payne describes. "I just remember her doing it as if she had been doing it for a long time. It didn't seem like something new to her."
"Inside" sources tell the magazine that the pain of her breakup with Joe Jonas only increased Lovato's self-destructive tendencies.

Poor Demi Lovato. You get in one fistfight with a backup dancer and all of a sudden, you ship off to rehab and all your secrets come out. Ever since Lovato checked herself into a treatment center, rumors have swirled that she’s a cutter with an eating disorder, she’s upset that her ex, Joe Jonas, is dating Ashley Greene, and as of today, she apparently has a raging coke habit and is dating Wilmer Valderrama, who is twelve years her senior. The New York Daily News writes that Lovato’s been turning to drugs and booze lately, ever since her split with Jonas. Brian Payne, a college student in Texas who said Lovato partied with him and his friends last year said “She was doing line after line like a pro - and she was 17 at the time. I just remember her doing it [cocaine] as if she had...

Did hard partying contribute to the Disney star’s breakdown?
While Demi Lovato, 18, has yet to officially elaborate on the “emotional and physical” issues that forced her to seek treatment, a new report from Life & Style magazine suggests she may have been struggling with drugs. Brian Payne, a college student from Texas, recalls partying with Demi back in Dec. 2009 after one of her concerts, and he says she did drugs “like a pro — and she was just 17 at the time. It didn’t seem like something new to her.”
Brian says Demi was getting close with Dave, the owner of the house they partied at in Texas, and was devastated who died in a tragic sporting accident.
An additional source tells the magazine that “Demi’s been on a tear lately. She’ll chug booze straight from the bottle.”

A source has come forward with shocking details about Demi Lovato’s partying ways prior to going to rehab. And she sounds like a little Lindsay-in-the-making! TORONTO -- Canada's largest journalist union on Monday urged Ottawa to end what it termed "secret trade talks" to allow foreign ownership of Canadian phone and cable giants by U.S. partners or buyers. At an Ottawa press conference, the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada produced what it claimed to be a leaked document from the current General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade talks in Geneva that indicates Canadian negotiators have signed on to a "plurilateral request" for World Trade Organization member nations to eliminate foreign ownership limits for domestic telecom companies. "This sector is of fundamental importance to sustaining and expanding both national and regional economic development. Who in their right mind would want to turn it over to foreign interests?" Brian Payne, president of the 150,000-member CEPU, said.

TORONTO -- Canada's largest media union has promised Friday to oppose any possible legislation by the federal government lifting foreign ownership restrictions on domestic cablecasters and telephone companies. Brian Payne, president of the Communications, Energy and Paperworkers Union of Canada, which represents about 20,000 Canadian print and broadcast employees, said he favors keeping restrictions on foreign ownership on cultural grounds. "We will fight any move to turn our heritage over to the Americans or others," Payne said Friday during a union conference in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. His call followed the recommendations Thursday of the federal cabinet's social, union and economic committees that foreign ownership restrictions be dismantled, but not during the current parliamentary session. That recommendation moves the lifting of a cap on foreign ownership of culturally sensitive Canadian content carriers one step closer.
