Hal Needham was the man behind "Budweiser Rocket", driven by his stunt friend Stan Barrett in december 1979. Hal claims that they was the first to brake the sound-barrier. The air-force confermed that the three-wheel hybrid-car reached a speed of 1190,4 km/h.
