- Gordon Mulholland was born on April 30, 1921 in Cape Town, Cape Province, South Africa. He was an actor, known for A Christmas Carol (1960), Accidents (1989) and Hands of Space (1961). He was married to Diane Wilson and Hope Calvert. He died on June 30, 2010 in East London, South Africa.

- A highly popular radio and TV performer in South Africa who began his career entertaining the troops as a stand-up comic in England during WWII.
