In the epic story of Breaking Bad, each character contributed to the show’s intense and unforgettable storytelling. From Bryan Cranston’s Walter White to Aaron Paul’s Jesse Pinkman, every one of the characters brought something different to the show.
However, the one standout in the entire series was Hank Schrader, a DEA agent portrayed by Dean Norris. Although the 5 season drama was supposed to be a serious show that focused on White’s descent into the crime world, Norris chose to make his character a little different.

After all, the 61-year-old ended up being the AMC show’s closest thing to a comedic relief. However, while everyone around him to the star to play it seriously during the audition, he chose to flip the script and bring a bit of his own humor to it.

We know a little about Sam’s parents. Her mom died, and Sam actually got to meet her ghosts in the first season. It was a cute but bittersweet moment for sure. Then in the second season, Sam mentioned divorce in the family.
Well, we may get some details about that divorce. Sam’s dad, played by the brilliant Dean Norris, is visiting Woodstone and he has a lady friend with him.
The father-daughter bond will be tested in Ghosts season 4, episode 2
Now that Patience is out of the ground and with the rest of the group, she is going to cause a few problems. Notably, she’s here to test the father-daughter bond. Is that linked to her feelings about her own father?...

Taron Egerton and Jason Bateman star in festive thriller Carry-On, which will stream on Netflix in December. Here’s the trailer:
The debate about whether Die Hard is a Christmas film? Well, it’s all a bit done and dusted now. Still, Christmas films skewing older is becoming more and more of a thing. This is a good time to recommend 2022 action comedy Violent Night, featuring David Harbour as Father Christmas beating up a house full of terrorists. Wholesome family fun.
Two more expensive festive films are heading our way this year.
The first is Red One, a big budget blockbuster that sees the great Jk Simmons don the beard to play Santa. The plot follows Dwayne Johnson and Chris Evans as they are dispatched to retrieve him after he is kidnapped. The warm comedy “Ghosts” has been a hit for CBS, despite facing an at-times claustrophobic feeling over the years, perhaps spawned in part by being a show launched during the pandemic. Star Rose McIver, who plays Sam, broke down Season 4’s premiere for TheWrap and teased how this season opens up multiple new pathways for the show to explore and for new characters to enter its orbit.
The premiere of Patience
That first new pathway comes with the debut of new ghost, Patience, played by comedic actress Mary Holland (“Nightbitch”), in Thursday night’s premiere titled after her character. McIver praised Holland’s season-opening arc playing the traumatized Puritan ghost — but shared that the character had initially left her apprehensive due to an existing “Ghosts” prude.
“I had been a little concerned with potential overlap with her and Hetty as characters, Patience and Hetty being the sort of rule setters of the house,...

Netflix’s “Carry-On” is now approaching.
The new thriller, directed by journeyman filmmaker Jaume Collet-Serra, stars Taron Egerton as a Tsa agent who is being blackmailed by a very bad guy (played by Jason Bateman) into letting a suitcase slip through security.
The action movie debuts Dec. 13 on the streamer, and a brand-new trailer out Wednesday gives a taste of what to expect from this Christmastime thriller. Watch it below.
Sure, the trailer is brief, but it gives a sense of what fun will be in store this holiday season. Plus, Collet-Serra has directed several terrific thrillers that involve public transportation, including “Non-Stop” and “The Commuter,” so this is very much in his wheelhouse. And Egerton makes for a very sympathetic hero.
“Carry-On” also follows in the footsteps of “Die Hard,” “Lethal Weapon” (or pretty much anything screenwriter Shane Black wrote) and, more recently, “Silent Night,” in terms of action movies set during Christmas.

"All you have to do – is nothing." Netflix has revealed a first look teaser trailer for a holiday thriller called Carry-On, landing to watch in December later in the year (on Netflix worldwide). It's a new action thriller from Jaume Collet-Serra, who is giving us this present of a B-movie with some cheesy direct-to-video vibes. The mysteriously vague synopsis only explains: A young Tsa agent fights to outsmart a mysterious traveler who blackmails him into letting a dangerous package slip onto a Christmas Eve flight. The impressive ensemble cast features Taron Egerton as the Tsa agent, Jason Bateman, Sofia Carson, Danielle Deadwyler, Logan Marshall-Green, Dean Norris, Sinqua Walls, and Jason Bateman. The coolest thing about this is Bateman as the bad guy?! This actually looks like the best kind of chilling schlock to enjoy during the holidays this year. // Continue Reading ›...

Jason Bateman has gone real no-more-Mr. Nice Guy on us.
The “Ozark,” “Horrible Bosses,” and “Game Night” star puts on a domestic-terrorist face (and hat) in the teaser for Netflix Christmas movie “Carry-On.” It’s, ah, not exactly “Elf.”
In “Carry-On,” before Bateman can terrorize a Christmas Eve flight, he first must make Taron Egerton’s job a living hell. Oh, and he might just kill the young Tsa agent’s significant other, played by Sofia Carson, as well.
“One bag for one life,” is Bateman’s blackmail offer.
We’re guessing he doesn’t have Clear.
Basically, Bateman targets Egerton to let his mysterious suitcase through the security scanners and onto the airplane. We don’t quite know (yet) what is in the package, but considering the gunfire and Tom Cruise-esque sprinting through the airport, Bateman’s cargo is probably a bit worse than nail clippers.

Netflix has a holiday gift for fans of trash cinema. Jaume Collet-Serra, the director of "Non-Stop," is returning to the skies for a new action film, this one entitled "Carry-On." Collet-Serra is a maestro of this particular genre, having devoted a good chunk of his career to making ludicrous Liam Neeson action thrillers that are often ludicrously entertaining, and this one looks like it's cut from that same cloth.
Taron Egerton stars as a Tsa agent who has to outsmart a mysterious terrorist figure, played by Jason Bateman ("Arrested Development"), who demands that the Tsa agent let a dangerous package slip through security at an airport, or else the terrorist will kill someone the agent loves. It's the type of high-drama, "what would you do?" scenario that permeated action movies in the '80s and '90s, and it looks like this could be a fun way to kill a...

Collet-Serra (Black Adam, Jungle Cruise) helmed the movie from a script by T.J. Fixman. Dylan Clark produces the film, while executive producers on the project include Collet-Serra, Holly Bario, Brian Williams, Seth William Meier and Scott Greenberg.

Kerry Washington as an army captain delivers a rousing speech to the first and only Women’s Army Corps unit of color to battle overseas during the Second World War in the teaser trailer (below) for Netflix’s The Six Triple Eight from writer, director and producer Tyler Perry.
“This is our mission. And we will not fail,” Major Charity Adams (Washington) declares quayside as the 855 Black women and women of color of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion march forward at her command to board a ship taking them to battle.
Their mission was to sort through a three-year backlog of mail — 17 million letters in all — yet to be delivered to American soldiers overseas, to restore morale on the front lines.
The Netflix biopic is part of an effort to give the 6888th battalion belated recognition for their heroism as they overcame discrimination to complete their letter-posting duties well ahead of schedule.

Tyler Perry’s new film “The Six Triple Eight” is coming to Netflix this holiday season.
On Friday, the streaming service debuted the new trailer for Perry’s World War II drama starring Kerry Washington. The film will arrive in select theaters on December 6 before it hits Netflix on December 20.
Inspired by “the first and only Women’s Army Corps unit of color to serve overseas in WWII,” Perry adapted “The Six Triple Eight” from the article “Fighting A Two-Front War” by Kevin M. Hymel published in “WWII History Magazine” by Sovereign Media.
Says Netflix of the project, “Despite facing racism and sexism – and grueling working conditions – the unit was committed to serving their country with honor and distinction. Given an extraordinary mission and united in their determination, these unsung heroes delivered hope and shattered barriers.”

Few shows have ever skyrocketed to the top of "best TV of all time" lists as quickly and completely as "Breaking Bad." The AMC crime drama, which aired from 2008 to 2013, has been canonized with surprising quickness, earning 58 Emmy nominations during its five-season run and inspiring one of the best TV spinoffs in the history of the medium. "Breaking Bad" is also a show whose audience seems permanently divided between two factions: those who love it as a drama full of flawed, tragic, and interesting characters, and those who genuinely root for school teacher turned meth-maker Walter White as he finds creative, scientific ways to beat his enemies.
With all of this in mind, how do we even go about talking about the bad parts of "Breaking Bad"? To do so is to reveal yourself and your read on the show, as one person's slow episode could be another's masterpiece. Are...

Something that Law & Order: Organized Crime has done so well, and we hope it’s able to continue to do even more with the move to Peacock, is showcase the Stabler family. Detective Elliot Stabler’s (Christopher Meloni) relationships with the members of his family are just as complicated as the cases he works as part of the Organized Crime Control Bureau, as was especially seen in Season 4. But considering how dark the show can get and how it was even launched as a two-parter with Svu (with Elliot’s wife’s death), we also can’t help but expect tragedy. And with the addition of two Stabler brothers last season (and us refusing to even think about Ellen Burstyn‘s Bernadette getting killed off), signs seem to point towards one of them. To say that Elliot’s relationships with his brothers Randall (Dean Norris) and Joe Jr. (Michael Trotter...

Some of you will recognize the new face on Law &Order, if you were ever a fan of Fox’s drama “Prison Break” back in the day, then you will recognize Dean Norris. You might also recognize him from other roles such as Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, Uncle Daddy in Claws, and “Big Jim” Rennie on the CBS series “Under the Dome” The actor has been in nearly 50 movies and over 100 different TV shows.
Law And Order Spoilers – Family Tension?
In Law & Order, he portrays Randall Stabler, brother to Elliot Stabler (Christopher Meloni) and will be a series regular on the fifth season premiering on Peacock.
Apparently, his character is returning in order to help take care of their Mom, Bernadette, portrayed by Ellen Burstyn. What is the drama between these two? It goes way back an incident involving their Father years prior, though right now we don’t know what that is.

The story is inspired by the first and only Women’s Army Corps unit of color to serve overseas in WWII. Despite facing racism and sexism – and grueling working conditions – they were committed to serving their country with honor and distinction. Given an extraordinary mission and united in their determination, these unsung heroes delivered hope and shattered barriers. Written and directed by Tyler Perry, the movie stars Kerry as Major Charity Adams, the commanding officer of the 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion.
