- Graduated from Emerson College in Boston, May 2000
- While at Emerson College, was a writer for the school's comedy magazine and part of the Emerson Comedy Workshop, a comedy troupe which Denis Leary once belonged to.
- Became recurring on-screen character on The Late Show With Craig Kilborn, where he worked as a receptionist. Was involved with segments like, "Opus Hugs Dido", "Compatible With Opus?" and "The Opus Opus" - the latter being a fictionalized biography of his life.
- No longer with Kilborn, Opus has since moved on to the New Tom Green Show on MTV and freelance writing, as well as performing in the acclaimed L.A. sketch comedy troupe "The B-Team".
- Was involved in an Internet project known as "All New Year" in which he tried one new thing every day for a straight year, and documented the results in a blog.
