In the long tradition of “The Masked Singer”, the format of this season’s gameplay and competition was wildly different from every other season that has come before it.

Big excitement while celebrating the small screen. Wednesday’s new episode of “The Masked Singer” was TV Night, and everything from the set decoration to the wardrobes to the editing and even song choices, was a celebration of all things TV.
Robin Thicke opened the show with a performance of the theme song for “Growing Pains” — which, obviously, served as a tribute to his late father, Alan Thicke, who famously starred in the iconic sitcom. It was a sweet moment made even sweeter by having Robin’s famous mom, Gloria Loring, in the audience.
Meanwhile, fellow panelists Jenny McCarthy, Ken Jeong and Nicole Scherzinger also embraced the theme with some TV-inspired costumes of their own (including Ken dressed up in a doctor’s coat and McCarthy decked out like Wonder Woman).

Vegas Night on The Masked Singer certainly had us placing our bets. Before the festivities could get rolling, however, there was still business from the Sept. 21 season premiere to address. After William Shatner and Eric Idle were unmasked last week as The Knight and The Hedgehog, respectively, the identity of The Hummingbird was still left to be revealed. Once the massive headpiece was removed, N' Sync's Chris Kirkpatrick emerged, who was the third celebrity sent packing after The Harp's impressive showing on premiere week. Vegas Night kicked off, naturally, with a performance from Donny Osmond, the special guest panelist for the second week of the...

“The Masked Singer” season 8 kicked off on September 21 with an episode packed with performances by four of the 22 contestants. The stand-out among this quartet was the celebrity disguised as the Harp. How appropriate that she was designed as this most heavenly of musical instruments as her voice sounded angelic while she sang a soaring cover of the Pink hit “Perfect.”
We’ve been rewatching her first performance, which dropped in advance of the premiere, and have all your “The Masked Singer” spoilers, including the answer to the question, “Who is Harp”?

The Harp has a distinctive voice that we heard so clearly in the intro to the song when she sang a capella. That crystal clear sound was sustained throughout the tune as she hit one high note after another. It was no surprise that the four judges — Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy,...
