During the run of Broadway's "Fiddler on the Roof," Carolyn could be found warming up backstage with Bette Midler and Adrienne Barbeau singing 60s pop hits.
Betty White and Mickey Mantle presided over The Miss Teenage America telecast. As the winner, Carolyn co-hosted CBS's coverage of the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and was a mystery guest on To Tell the Truth (1956).
Carolyn comes from a large Irish-Italian family. She has four sisters and a brother.

Carolyn was part of the pop group, "The Klowns," whose album was produced by Jeff Barry. On their ABC special, The Klowns (1970), she rode an elephant with Ringling Brothers Barnum and Bailey Circus.
