J.J. Michaels was born in the Midwest and started working in the adult
industry in 1997 after serving in the Air Force. After only working in
less than a dozen films he was selected to be part of the Louis Theroux
documentary for the BBC. Due to the show's popularity, a follow up was
filmed later that year for Christmas in New York. In 1999, He married a
fellow actress. After the death of his brother in late 1999 they both
left the adult industry in early 2000. In 2007, he returned to
directing a series of high concept adult films. In 2012, he returned to
the Louis Theroux show to discuss the past and his plans for the
future. He is working as an actor outside the adult industry.
