Miles Meehan was born and raised in Lexington, KY. He began his
professional acting, singing and performing career at age 6 when he was
cast in "Lawn Dogs." Following this roll, Miles continued working
locally and regionally doing commercials and musical theater. Soon
after "Lawn Dogs", Miles was cast in the independent film out of
Memphis, Tenn., "Breakfast with Arty", where he played "Tommy" opposite
of Blues legend, Rufus Thomas.
In 1999, Miles began touring with the 3rd National Tour of Disney's
"Beauty and the Beast" out of New York City. He toured the United
States for ten months playing the roll of "Chip." It was in this show
that Miles received his Actor's Equity Association membership and to
this day, he still maintains his AEA status.
Miles continued to audition in film, television and theater, however,
during his teenage years, he spent most of his energy focusing on high
school and college. Miles received his B.A. in Psychology from the
University of Kentucky where he also was "Scratch" - the UK mascot -
for three and a half years. Miles also is receiving his Masters in
Biblical Studies from Asbury Theological Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky.
Though focusing on graduate school work, Miles still auditions and has
intentions to continue performing professionally.
