The “Lizzie McGuire” reboot may be on pause, but the original cast just got back together.
Hilary Duff, star of the 2001 Disney channel comedy series, posted a video of she and her castmates getting together to do a table read of the “Between a Rock and a Bra Place!” episode, which aired 19 years ago this week.
“Lizzie McGuire retro table read!” Duff wrote in the caption of the video. “We could not stop laughing reading lines from tween us…this is the first time we were all “together-ish” in almost 18 years!”

The reunion featured Duff, Jake Thomas (Matt McGuire), Hallie Todd (Jo McGuire), Robert Carradine (Sam McGuire), Adam Lamberg (Gordo), Lalaine (Miranda), Davida Williams (Claire), Ashlie Brillault (Kate), Kyle Downs, writers...

Lizzie McGuire‘s return to television will come by way of Hulu, at least if series creator Terri Minsky — who was fired as showrunner in January — gets her wish.
“I am so proud of the two episodes we did,” Minsky tells our sister publication Variety. ‘Hilary has a grasp of Lizzie McGuire at 30 that needs to be seen. It’s a wonderful thing to watch. I would love the show to exist, but ideally I would love it if it could be given that treatment of going to Hulu and doing the show that we were doing. That’s the...

Hilary Duff is (sort of) speaking out about the problems surrounding her postponed Lizzie McGuire revival.
Before we dive in, here’s some context: Earlier this week, it was announced that Love, Victor — an upcoming series based on the 2018 gay rom-com Love, Simon — is relocating from Disney+ to Hulu. Multiple reports indicated that the move was made because Love, Victor‘s mature themes, including sexual exploration and drinking, feel more at home on an adult-oriented streaming service like Hulu.

Lizzie McGuire purists rejoice! Adam Lamberg is set to reprise his role as Lizzie’s sarcastic Bff David “Gordo” Gordon in the Disney+ revival.
Gordo was a fan-favorite in the original series created by Terri Minsky. He was smart, creative and was a bit of an outcast, but was loved by his inner circle of friends.
“Gordo was an essential piece of the puzzle to what made the original Lizzie McGuire so authentic and beloved,” said Duff, who reprises the title role. “I couldn’t imagine the series without him. I can’t wait for fans to see what he’s up to 15 years later and how he fits into Lizzie’s adult world.”

The Chainsmokers and 5 Seconds of Summer joined forces on The Tonight Show to perform their collaborative new single “Who Do You Love.” The hooky, hypnotic number, which dropped last month, took on an even more buoyant vibe when performed live. During the low-key performance, with The Chainsmokers and 5 Seconds of Summer each set up on opposing sides of the stage, drummers Matt McGuire and Ashton Irwin both grabbed the rhythm duties, amped up by the harmonic vocals.
